Hacking disc and wii icon

Hello,
I try to make my wii u region free but I loose 2 icons.
The disc and wii disappear from my game pad.
Does anybody know how to fix this.

That is normal when you do the region free hack to fix simply reset the region back to the one for your region then use region free cfw instead as there is now no need to do the region free hack now that cfw is region free and it will also give you back the missing icons.

First this never happened to me after region hacking and second what about legit titles that are out of region?

it happens when you then create a new nnid it makes the icons dissappear we have had several reports of this happening on the website. and using cfw region free out of region legit games will work why would they not?

I meant legit installed games that don't need cfw. Its way easier to launch them from the homemenu when you can

using region free cfw you launch all games from the home menu including legit games.

So reset the wiiu back to the region it is from create the nnid then reapply the region free hack and you will be fine. or even better reset the region back and use cfw region free you then don't need to make any changes on the wiiu.

what are you trying to delete?? you need to edit the region back to the correct region.

No go to the home screen then click on the picture icon on the top left of the screen then scroll down to delete this user select that to delete the nnid. do that then report back before you do anything else.

OK so you need to first of all reset the wiiu region back to the correct region so can you reset it back then report back please then we can look at getting you correctly set up for region free.

you are just doing the exact same thing you did when you made the wiiu region free except you change the number back to the number for your region.

Someone fixed this issue? I just formatted a wii u added a new id and both disk and wii u menu icon dissapeared.
