Hello,

I am here to ask a question!

I have a New 3ds Version 11.2 and I am wondering what my best option is. I do not want to hard mod downgrade this 3DS, but if there is any other way I would like to hear !

Also what do you suggest? Should I buy a flash cart or downgrade/wait?

Note: I also have an Old 3DS already hacked...So I am not sure if that helps

You can buy a sky3ds+ (which doesn't support newer games) for $100 bucks but at that rate you might as well pay someone to hardmod the console for $70. Since your on 11.2 you can't use the upcoming slowhax and your only choice is hardmod.

For the current time, not wanting a hardmod, you're best of getting a flashcart such as Sky3DS+ (Can't play Sun/Moon as of now) though.

Theirs no point to buying a Sky3DS+ for $100 when you can send it off to someone to hardmod it for $70.

I mean, how can you trust anyone doing that kind of process to your 3ds? Also, I heard you might be able to downgrade if you had another 3ds? Is that not true?

I sent my n3dsxl on three different occasions. Never had an issue.. We have a thread of reputable people.

Yes, you can if you have another already hacked 3DS.

Each people have different view of trusting. I also not trusting people who do hardmod in my country too.

Yeah, I understand. It can be scary. Its a risk people take. But when you see a place like this with like I said reputable people, and other members can vouch for their services, it makes it easier and can put people at ease about it... makes me feel that way, anyway lol.

Yes you can downgrade using a hacked 3ds with the use of a DsiWare title (all but 1 have been pulled from US) and a system transfer.

I just went through this process on my N3DSXL Red and it was quick and simple enough to do.

There are many a vouched for hard modders here who do a great job and their turnaround time is quicker. @vb_encryption_vb does many of them per week and has excellent feedback. It's another viable option to consider, and in my opinion the least risky since they have much more experience than most ppl on the forum. Also hard mods don't have to be permanent.

I will be going out of town for 2 weeks, but if you still need it when I get back I can do the DsiWare downgrade and hack it for you for the cost of shipping both ways + $15. I will have to hold system for 8 days tho since I will need to transfer back to mine in order to preserve the DsiWare title.

I'd vouch for @vb_encryption_vb he is very reputable and reliable with his service.

Thank you very much for the offer. What is the cheapest you think someone would hardmod my 3ds for? Also is there a tutorial on how to downgrade my N3ds using my old 3ds Xl, I do own a hacked 3ds Xl.

Oh you are golden! Follow this tutorial starting from here: https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade

You will need to buy legends of exidia from eshop on hacked console ASAP, it may get pulled soon.

Nvm read it wrong. Would you say this is a hard process? Also, how long did it take you?

No I don't think it's terribly hard. It was my first time doing the DSiWare downgrade part (I did previous systems starting on 10.7, which skips this part).

All in all I would say it took me 20 mins to downgrade, I recommend to go slow and read and double check all instructions and file placement, especially following correct instructions during system transfer.

The whole process on N3DS took me 30 mins. The rest is fairly straight forward.

If you go slow, it's very easy to follow. No regrets here, A9LH is amazeballs.

Ok so does it matter what Version my O3ds is?

I have 177 members here on GBAtemp that can confirm they all got their consoles back downgraded or whatever service they wanted done.
