I don't know if this is the right place for posting something like that... I just had this idea, but I don't even know if it's possible or if anyone already tried to do it.

The New 3DS have this faceplates/coverplates.. So, I thought that maybe it is possible to do a mod in the O3DS to have some kind of plate as well. I never ever did anything like that, so I don't know how to start. Does anyone wants to try making something like that?

take off the shell and glue a new one on. or just put cover on or repaint it. there are sticker like things you can get online to put on your console as well.

I know there are stickers and painting and etc... I was thinking about creating a plate to be placed over the 3DS original shell, like the N3DS faceplates.

I think I could just 3D-print something like that... If I had a 3D printer.

yes you could. that would also require ripping off the original so idk if thats quite worth the trouble.

Ripping off the original is easy, and the original shell of the 3DS that I want to do this for is actually broken... So I will have to change it anyway as soon as I get some money.
