Lego City Undercover getting port to Switch and other platforms
SOURCE
Only Lego game I played was the Indiana Jones one back on the 360, quite a while ago. I've heard fantastic things about this one, though, most comments calling it a kiddie friendly GTA. It had a "pre-quel" on the 3DS, but that game doesn't seem to be as enjoyable. I suppose the Nintendo contract period has ended for the game, which will be interesting as the game has some Nintendo related easter eggs.I never played a lego game before, is this one any good? It was a nintendo exclusive right?
Whaaat? You never played a Lego game before.. not even Lego Star Wars? What are you waiting for, Nintendo to make one?I never played a lego game before, is this one any good? It was a nintendo exclusive right?
Yeah that semi-addresses it and yes it is awesome as hell to a lego fan.Only Lego game I played was the Indiana Jones one back on the 360, quite a while ago. I've heard fantastic things about this one, though, most comments calling it a kiddie friendly GTA..
Yeah. That is the thing people need to remember as the 3ds game is not a port or a version, it is a different game.It had a "pre-quel" on the 3DS, but that game doesn't seem to be as enjoyable.
Ya know on the Lego Twitter page that you linked to someone asked about that and all they said was basically stay tuned. But I personally think this will be like Zombi.I suppose the Nintendo contract period has ended for the game, which will be interesting as the game has some Nintendo related easter eggs.
Sweet. I've been hoping it would get a port (I have a Wii U, but...it's a dust machine) and I'm excited to buy it on Steam.Yeah that semi-addresses it and yes it is awesome as hell to a lego fan.]
Oh really? I didn't know wii u can be used as vaccum machiene, i better check the manual on new consoles from now on so i don't be left out on new stuff.Sweet. I've been hoping it would get a port (I have a Wii U, but...it's a dust machine) and I'm excited to buy it on Steam.
Same here as playing it on the go on my laptop will be pretty radSweet. I've been hoping it would get a port (I have a Wii U, but...it's a dust machine) and I'm excited to buy it on Steam.
It is original and buy it as it is great and cheap. That lego city game seem like original concept idea is it? I w
So why should i play this one over the other ones that is made?It is original and buy it as it is great and cheap.
This game is by far more polished in terms of the 15 levels, way more collectibles, the open world adds a ton to do, and this game has the best humor. So why should i play this one over the other ones that is made?
I had a 2DS before, and well it wasn't very comfortable maybe others are OK with it. Also, if I had to compare the 2DS to anything, it'd be to a doorstopper or an axe. The definitive way to play Lego City: The Chase Begins is on the New 3DS. Think my problem with the 2DS layout is that the buttons were way too above.definitive version is the 3ds version played on a 2ds, duh. performs perfectly fine in 2d on a 2ds and is quite enjoyable to play with decent load times
EDIT: 3ds version on a lumacfw new 3ds would be the best if it supported cstick/cpp
Better looking on 2DS? The colours are washed and the quality of the screen is inferior, even inferior to the DS Lite as I've compared it myself. Nintendo really went cheap on this budget 3DS.Weird, I find a good number of games more comfortable and better looking on 2ds, some on launch 3ds look best, some look and are most comfortable on new 3ds, and some look and are most comfortable on new 3ds xl. Old 3DS XLs are gross minus a few limited edition ones.
Uhh.. it depends on the particular unit... I've never owned a ds lite though, did own a ds phat and dsi though. and a psp-1000 with horrid ghosting issues. and an oled psvita that was used to develop the psmobile build of Panda Panic blacks looked awful on the oled, colors looked greatBetter looking on 2DS? doesn't the wii u version have horrid load times? does it have good gamepad usage?the chase begins for 3ds is just not worth it, the draw distance is incredible short and i mean short, there are no "levels" like all the lego games everything just happens on the street and its mostly fetch missions, lego city undercover atleast had levels like all the lego games and a huge list of items to collect in each district, it took me quite afew hours to do a full 100% on it, its a great lego game imo, glad to see this ported even tough i have the original for the wiiu, i bet they will had some exclusive lego characters like they did with the harry potter lego collection remaster on the ps4.
yeah load times are abit ridiculous and yeah gamepad isnt that usable its mostly for calls from your sargent and such, the game is still great tough.Uhh.. it depends on the particular unit... No, it's the model that matters. 2DSes are all the same. However, if we were talking about GBA SPs then you'd have a point but it's not.it depends on the particular unit
It does.doesn't the wii u version have horrid load times?
Not really. Just gimmicky use to make it seem "useful."does it have good gamepad usage?

The 2DS is a low quality budget 3DS so this should not come as a surprise. DS Lite, DSi, Original 3DS and the New 3DS all look great. I regrettably missed out on a great New 3DS deal that was earlier today. Are all 2DS dual TN??
