Hardware hardmod for flashing Nand

hello guys i recently got a soft bricked for using a faulty a localfriendcodeseed i can enter to recovery mode and already did an update but i still got the black screen whenever i turn it on normally i was told i can use hardmod and an old nand backup to restore my 3ds so i did the whole hardmod thing and i have some questions:
1 i got the bluescreen error code 00F800FE 00000000 00000000 00000400 00000000 and my computer cant read the sd once i connnect it is this normal? do i need another kind of sd adapter? i did solder wrong?
2 can i restore my old nand backup using just hardmod or do i need some kind of chipset like raspberry?
if anyone can help i'll be really grateful

Way too much exposed wire on your hardmod. You're at great risk of that shorting out, if it hasn't already.

Yes only a few sd adapters are compatible. There's a thread on here about how to do a hard mod which lists the known working ones.

so i should reduce the length of those ok then i'll find another adapter, regarding the error is it normal?
The blue screen error is normal as long as it only appears when the sd card is connected. If it appears even with the sd card disconnected then it means the hardmod is incorrect.

To answer your other question, you don't need any other hardware to flash the NAND. Just the hardmod and sd adapter.

Edit - by sd card above, I mean the sd card of the hardmod, not the 3DS internal sd card.

thanks, it only does appear when both the sd card and the adapter is connected when just the sd card is connected normal black screen

May i know what if blue screen appears but yet windiskmanager can't detect the drive?
Doublechecked that connections were correct.

Sorry my first post after 11years in this forum lol!

Then you just need to shorten your hardmod wires for safety and ensure your sd reader is a compatible one. It is normal for the drive not to be readable in windows once it is detected.
