Do you have the boot.nds file on the root of the SD card?

No, but it didnt tell me to do that in the guide.
You need to put it there or it would freeze up like what you said. Let me know if it worked for you.

Also, did you "inject" the public.sav file into the save?

The only thing i did:
  1. Press (A) on public.sav and copy it
  2. Press (B) to get back to the main menu
  3. Navigate to TWL NAND -> title -> 00030004
  4. Navigate to the folder for your game and region:
    • Fieldrunners USA Region: 4b464445
    • Fieldrunners EUR Region: 4b464456
    • Legends of Exidia USA Region: 4b4c4545
    • Legends of Exidia EUR Region: 4b4c4556
    • Legends of Exidia JPN Region: 4b4c454a
    • Guitar Rock Tour EUR Region: 4b475256
    • Guitar Rock Tour USA Region: 4b475245
    • The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords EUR Region: 4b513956
    • The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords USA Region: 4b513945
  5. Navigate to the data folder
  6. Press (A) on the existing public.sav and delete it
  7. Press (A) on the current directory and paste public.sav
  8. Press (B) to get back to the main menu
  9. Press (Start) to exit
  10. Launch your DSiWare game on the source 3DS
  11. Test if the save is functional
    • Fieldrunners: Touch the ‘Scores’ button at the main menu
    • Legends of Exidia: After pressing (A) or (Start) at the two title screens, select the first save slot and press continue
    • Guitar Rock Tour: Scroll down and go to High-Scores -> Drums -> Easy
    • The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords: Just start the game
    • If your game has an error about boot.nds, then the exploit has been successful

Are you sure i need the boot.nds? The guide only mentions that in the Section VII on the target 3ds
I am still on my source 3DS

Yes. Put it both on the source and the target 3ds. I have done this myself and it worked.

Sorry if I jump in here. I can't seem to understand the guide but are you suppose to run the DSiWare game from Sysnand on the CFW 3DS? Mine is 9.2 and I intended to keep it like that and I do appriate that I found this thread because I would probably whitescreen as well.

1. You are supposed to have a 3ds with CFW.
  • That 3DS needs to have the DSiWare
  • You NEED the boot.nds on the root of the SD card.

You won't be able to system transfer on 9.2 even with httpwn. The two systems must have the same NATIVE_FIRM. If you have a9lh there is no reason not to update to 11.2.

Uhm thanks for replying but I already got it downgraded and fixed. I used my Emunand and made sure the exploit worked by even installing a copy on my sysnand.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

  • Veho @ Veho:
This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
