Homebrew [Tutorial] How to unban your nintendo 3ds

I tried, and it didn't unban the target system, which is weird, in theory. I used the "With PC" method, though I doubt it makes any difference.

That's strange, you'd think it would work the same. I'm just preparing my unbanned and my banned 3DS for System Transfer now, so will try the without PC method and see if it works. Can't do the method posted above as the banned one is an N3DS and both my unbanned ones are O3DS.

When you say

5) Start the system transfer process from system settings on both 3DS.

The source is 3ds 1( not banned) or 3ds 2 (banned)?

6) Once the transfer is done, restore the NAND backup on 3DS 2, and also restore the Nintendo 3DS folder if needed.

So we dont restore the Nand of the 3ds 1( not banned) on the 3ds 1 ?

I want to try. I have 2 New 3ds. But one its my brother's 3ds. So when I will restore a nand backup on the 3ds 2. Its sure the Nand backup will works and unban the 3ds 2?No risks?

And i need to reinstall all hacks? (A9LH)

That is precisely what I did (if I read properly) : Transfered from an unbanned O3DS XL to a banned N3DS. Did not unban me. Would you mean, linking an ID to the unbanned 3DS then transfering?

So，will the nnid of the banned one got unlinked though the transfer from a unbanned with another nnid.

I think it's worth to try，but I only got one console.

Maybe this is a way to save people's purchase ？

It wouldn't work, unless you change one of the two's region (granted it has a9lh).

During the transfer, the NNID of the source system is moved to the target, and then unlinked from the source, if that is what you wanted to know.

Yup, you could buy a Europen console and then region change it, or region change the Japanese one.

If the target console is banned.. the transfer will also throw an error. They both need to be "unbanned" with this method, or not banned at all, for it to work. Though only the source would be unbanned if both are banned.

I'm well aware of the article. People have also been told by support that it's a temporary ban. People have also been told incorrect information about how the ban works, stating that game modification was required in order to access online features. It appears that at least some of the support staff know as much as the rest of us. It could still be a temporary ban, particularly when owners of legitimate cartridges have been banned.
