While following the guide here, I think I ended up hardbricking my little bros system. I was using AuReiNAND for it and accidentally went into Arm9Loaderhax from the Homebrew menu and now the ds won't boot into anything. Is there any way to fix this?

Tried holding L+R+Start+Dpad up and that does nothing.

Looks like I'll have to buy him a new console... :( Good thing I made a NAND backup before trying this. Now to figure out if I can even downgrade if I purchase a new 2ds. Crap
If you buy a old mk7 bundle it will be on 6.2 or something like that. The new color swapped consoles are 11.0 and undowngradable.

Awesome, that was the one I got him in the first place. Now to see if I can buy it and downgrade it before he notices I broke his system... He's at mom's for a week, so we'll see. Glad to see I at least have an option there

I'm not using AuRei anymore... Gonna stick to Luma or just Arm9 this time... Seems to be safer

if he had any games on it he will loose all his saves etc if you just buy a new one, maybe get in touch with @vb_encryption_vb and see how much a temp hardmod unbrick would be plus from what I others have said you will usually have it back within a week if you go with him (although that would probably depend on current workload I would imagine)

Don't even try to use his nand with the new system or you'll break that one too.

Listen, when you get him the new console, DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT, flash that NAND on it. Or it will be HARDBRICKED. If you made XORPAD backups you would've been able to flash them back onto it.

Okay, I won't use that NAND then
Hardmod would cost you almost as much as a new 2ds if you pay someone. Idk what the going rate is for temp hardmods, but it's actually pretty easy if you have any experience at all.

You should probably just get a new one since you only have a week.

If you get a new one don't throw that one in the trash and keep the NAND Backup. And if you ever want hardmod it and fix it. Or send it to someone as a freebie with the NAND backup on the sd. I'd be happy to take it.

What does the console do when you try to turn it on?
Where were you in the guide when this happened?
