Alright. Should editing dates even be a concern though? I thought it wouldn't matter because of the 3DS calendars.

I have no knowledge in how servers work but couldn't you in theory have a link like system (xlink, whatever) with DNS settings or whatever in the 3ds settings? Like have a server, set your 3ds to connect to that instead of nintendo and then it just works?

we would have to worry about a lot of things then, terms of service, being sued, paying to keep a server open, actually programming the server. it would take a team and a whole lot of effort
