Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

Am I one of the lucky ones I went online for the first time playing Pokémon moon today this morning around 730 at this moment I am still able to access eshop miiverse and everything else will I be getting ban later

Delete the cia back up your save because you'll get banned

To be fair, I'm laughing too (and trying to help), but COME ON!.... Playing a pirated game ONLINE before release? I saw this coming a mile away. This isn't some shitty indie game Nintendo doesn't care about, its pokemon. Everyone banned had it coming.

I would never, play a game online, early especially when the game only exists as a leak. It is basically just asking to get banned. If you have played online and dont have a ban then congratulations, however just don't push your luck lol

Try to play Mario Kart or Smash Bros online, you're probably banned with the 0002 code and don't know yet

Pretty funny in retrospect to how people were laughing at how so much info was left on the demo during the earlier leaks for people to datamine. Then they assumed Gamefreak/Nintendo weren't doing anything to protect their game and fell for the old box-and-stick trap.




RIPieces really. It was bad enough that they pirated the game in the first place, but then they decided to go online with their copies before release date? Yeah. That was your own hubris you're getting hanged by.


/vp/ has been some of the funniest stuff I've read in the last evening/morning so far.

A couple of people were like "Nintendo can't do anything" and other stuff.
Now it's basically "you got what you deserved" and "get off your high horse."

Yes, most bans in the past have been temporary. Only people unbanning themselves and repeatedly getting re-banned have been perma-banned in the past. Don't let that get your hopes up though, we still don't know about this one. The way Nintendo was talking.... I'm not so sure this is a temp ban. =/

So the saved data from Savedatafiler's decrypted moon save won't have any data in it, suggesting it's the leaked copy, right? I don't want to import it, and if this is a temp ban, get banned again because of the saved data lol

Note; I think from what I read this is complete auto-banning

They didn't verify Cart Codes; the fact that the ban type depends on how your logged in; plus even though I haven't played the game; I have had them preloaded from ciangel and i'm not banned
