So I just got banned for no reason. I hadn't Wifi disabled, but didn't try out online features soooo... Why? When trying to access friend list I get 002-0102. Any way to bypass it or reverse the ban?

It seems to be only if you played online. I played the game a TON offline, but I checked just now and I was able to get online in MK7 no problem.

Were there any bans for people who didn't play online? I never did but since I often traded locally my Wi-Fi was switched on while playing several times. Can't imagine them banning people who didn't use online functions of the game, though.

If i played pokemon sun & moon on a n3ds (with wifi on obviously) but i didn't connect to any online service in-game (like trade, wonder trade, play vs another player etc) will i get banned? (im not at home so i can't check)

gee idk b/c going online b4 a game release seems to be the only reasonable explanation of why ppl are getting their ID's banned.

mmh, kinda weird for me because eshop error code is 011-3136 and that other code is the classic 002-0102

Are they substantiated or just claiming? Even if you didn't do anything online, they might have still connected to the network features in-game.

i played offline (maybe 2-3 hours) and havent been banned but i wasnt on the latest update at the time of playing .

I would assume so. You connect to their servers, you're online.

I beat the game, tried Mystery Gift, and accidentally hit the trainer plaza or whatever and never got hit with a ban on my spare unit.
