Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

According to the one who leak the rom, the guy name Lurantis change the version number to 0. Different from the official copy just to make it work I believe. So if people using Version number 0 which isn't the real number version, I doubt Nintendo will allow the pirated version to update.
 
If your header is not unique, eventually you will be caught too

i reckon these are perma bans. no way nintendo is just gonna let us off the hook after 2 weeks. we are done, boys.

On the plus side, it'll save money in the future. No sense to spend any if you have an offline brick. xD

I've done terrible things, even physically damaged my systems, and they've repaired them for free. I figure they'd do something if you talk it over.
 
So, is it safe to assume that if someone never got banned before and banned now will only get a 15 days ban? Not permanent?
 
Just have to live with it. Again, I play mostly Local play anyway, so zero fucks here.
