Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

It's always funny watching people go nuts and lash out when a major ban wave happens. It's always something or someone else's fault that they're banned.

Let me help you clear this up now: No, it's not illegal for Nintendo to cut you off from their service even though you have pre-ordered games waiting on there. You agreed to their terms of service, which specifies that Nintendo can cut you off at any time for any reason. And good luck taking that to court and trying to pull the "terms of service isn't law" card, because Nintendo could counter you over the fact that you pirated an unreleased game. Doesn't matter if you also ordered a legit copy; you downloaded someone else's ripped copy and installed it ahead of release date without Nintendo's permission. You didn't follow the rules of their service and you stole an extra copy of their game to boot. It's all on you, and it's over.

Just to clarify, I'm not flaming everyone who pirated the game. In fact, I did it too. I'm only addressing the people who are upset and trying to make it sound like it wasn't their own fault, to the point that Nintendo is acting illegally. I personally took every possible precaution against this kind of thing, since it's not even the first time that it's happened (shut wi-fi off, don't use my main system). Anyone who didn't take precautions had it coming and are in the wrong. If you accept that fact, you're fine in my book. But don't go claiming that it was something out of your control and/or that Nintendo or someone else did something wrong.

You'll find that you won't be able to create an NNID.

OK so reporting in:

EU N3DS without NNID (NNID:00000000)
accessed Festival Plaza on Pokemon Sun for 5minutes and got Error 002-0102

E-Shop access is still fine and turning console on and off doesnt change that fact
Only thing blocked for me is the ability to play online

It cant be a MAC level ban tho since they wouldve blocked eShop aswell
So my question is how the fk are they blocking someone with no NNID when he isnt MAC-banned? lmao

EDIT: Accessing NNID settings isnt blocked and I could create a NNID if I wanted to. This is weird

Nope doesn't work, 022-2812 is a hyperban or a mac ban. It's not tied to an NNID and will restrict you from creating a new one or accessing NN services if you have on tied to the system

I've been hacking pokemon since January 2015, and have not been banned for it. They "could," maybe, but they haven't, and they won't. Even with ram injection online, nothing bad happened. This statement is ridiculous.

Same scenario with me, but I just got online with OR, so you should be safe. Wifi disabling for that leak isn't necessary.

It still worries me since i did go to the Plaza once. I didnt connect online, i guess i see when i get home.

Try actually going through the creation process. Like up to the point where you say "create a new NNID", after that you should run into an issue if you have the NN mac ban/hyperban
