i could be wrong but from I understand they check what's on your pokemon game to see if it has any haxmons and not whether or not your 3ds is hacked.

i'd delete any apps that aren't "normal" titles. such as the title manger or anything like that and then reinstall them later on. maybe get rid of any splash screens if you have any for your cfw.

Can't be too hard to hide that your console is hacked now.

only thing that i have is custom keyboard (ffs cant uninstall) and the luma config screen when you hold select

just hide any custom apps and make sure when it turns on everything looks normal. for example if you're using Luma3ds cfw then hide that it shows what kind of firmware version you're on because they will check for that apparently. instead of showing "sys 11.2-35 U" you want it to show "11.2-35 U"

edit: well then don't ever pull up the keyboard lol

If you have any custom apps that you want backed up then back those up and delete them from the system. you probably want to keep your SD because it's got your game saves on there. i think you'll be fine.

he may not have another system and may not have any friends with one. plus the cart doesn't support using on multiple systems. it says save corrupted when you try.

i've tried it. personally. the cart won't let you use it on multiple systems.

also: if you're getting another system then just use your cart on that system and leave it unhacked for the tournament. that way you don't have to mess with your old system.

Delete secure value before transferring then. But I can confirm on a legitimate card you can transfer it between systems without issue.

I once gave my old unhacked 3ds to my ex gf and when I tried to play my omega ruby on my new unhacked 3ds it would not work. it said save corrupt and wanted me to delete it because the save was associated with the old 3ds. when I googled the issue i found out.

Has nothing to do with the old 3ds. Now if you played the game in a system with some OLD cfw it used an old save encryption that systems didn't recognize. The 4.5 save encryption iirc. Been awhile. Had to do with Gateway/CFW available at the time being unable to decrypt newer saves.

i think you could use your old system for the tournament as long as there's no tell tail signs that it's been hacked and as long as you don't have any obviously hacked pokemon on your game save.

maybe that was my issue. i had a gateway at the time on the older system.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
