Homebrew help a noob before to mod the 3ds

hello.like the title..sorry if is a alredy maked question..i try to search in the web but my english is not so good.i hopen someone can explain better in simpliest words.i have 11.2 new 3dsxl..i can do hardmod or use another modded 3ds...the modded 3ds had to be new3ds/new3ds xl or a old3ds is ok too? and..i have to make a backup of all my game installed and save file too and the backup after i have modded? if yes..how i can do a backup f that?i hear with jk save manage but i am not able to find anuthing i have hbl via smash hax cause steelhax not work anymore and not know how to update it.after i have a cfw there are risk in be banned playing online or is all ok ? i still have my friend code or a new one?thansk to all

The modded 3DS can be any model.

No one has been banned from using CFW yet. People only got banned for cheating in Badge Arcade and for using public headers with Sky3DS (temp bans)

thanks for the reply..i have jk save manager on my 3ds..but i not found any voice that says to backup all..or maye i am misunderstanding something(yeah i killed the english here,not want how to check how to write correctly lol)..i have to backup save game file or what?

Yes, you need to back them up one by one AFAIK.

what mean afaik? lol so save game files is the only one thing i have to backup? even cartridge games?
