Simply put when and where do you get the National Dex?

I don't think it's in the game. I brought my pokes over from ORAS ( I have all 721 with the exception of Meloetta ), and I'm currently looking for the rest of the alola pokemon (only need like 4 more).

The dex might be patched in when pokebank works, according to what others say, dunno though. But right now, I don't think there is one. But I'll let you know once I catch teh rest of the alola pokes!

If I'm reading this properly there IS no National Dex present in the game and that's probably why

The Shiny Charm is your reward for completing the Alolan dex and not the National Dex...

Which is a weird way to go about it to say the least. I'm reading they may patch the National Dex in later as a way to prevent hackers like us from getting access to the content before it's official release.... which means it could be a day 1 patch when the game is released.

I didn't find the shiny charm in the PkHex files, but who knows? I'm so ready!

Yeah I saw that and I'm like... wait wut? You're only suppose to get the shiny charm for completing the National dex so why am I getting it NOW? Was this an oversight by the devs? Was this intentional to make the game easier and more enjoyable? Or is there an even more amazing reward waiting for us for the National Dex completion that's going to be new in this game... something so amazing it's even better than the shiny charm and makes the whole effort worth it... But what could it be?

6 Days till the official release. At this point expect anything could happen.

either its all contained within the bank.... or its that and we get a national dex in sun and moon. Sure glad I got that CIA for the ORAS retexture project going for me, cause for the time being I'm all done with this game.

How do you get the Shiny/Oval Charm? I have completed the dex and spoke to the prof but he only gave me a Substitute TM lol.

Who did you speak to for the Shiny Charm?

Also, how do you get Cosmog? I saw you post that you mentioned it in the release thread but I can't find it in your comment history.

Went there with my Lunala in my lead and it just says
"There is a strange distortion in the air... but you don't seem able to traverse it now."
