Ah crap. Thanks for pointing at that. I will change the hyperlink in the readme later.

There was no release of any channel yet. You will have to wait a bit till we finish the package completely.

Awesome, I'll keep on waiting for things to be a bit more simplified and consolidated.

I didn't know about that channel version!
it looks nice, thanks for all your work.

You can install it through a patched fw.img and launch it through that but it will not launch without a patched fw.img.
Your answer means it requires RedNAND or you can actually patch sign check from sysNAND with fw.bin?
So you can install unsigned content on sysNAND and reboot into a non patched mode? it doesn't brick or delete these installed content if you don't coldboot into a patched fw?
I thought the console did a check on all installed content on boot, so it's only done at title launch? what happens if you try to launch an unsigned title?

You can patch sig checks in sysNAND without using redNAND at all, correct. You still need a way to launch a custom fw.bin though, i.e. Internet Browser exploit.

Yes you can, no it does not brick or delete the fakesigned content.

It doesn't, really, or at least it doesn't care unless you try to launch it. Iiirc you get a message about the title having been purchased by another NNID or something like that. It doesn't delete the title though, so that's great.

So it's similar to the 3DS sysnand when you installed content which wasn't official, in which the channel itself was still there but would only screw up if you try to launch it, still that doesn't give a brick, simply the channel disappeared after that and reappears when you entered sysnand with sig patches.

Here is what a generic bootMovie could look like.
Please excuse the resolution. I make them in 1024x512 and downsample them to the delivery format.
i can concur that looks really dope

also for those interested to view the h264's on your pc you can use this h264->mp4

looks fucking awesome:

(I had to trim it to get it working)

Great work! Yes, turned out well if I am allowed to say so myself.
Interested in what the maximum allowed length of the bootMovie is? In frames if that is possible?

Cheers

Thanks!
It is also possible to play it in vlc i think.

IDK if its even limited in frames, needs deeper testing. I guess is has to smaller than the orignal one. Maybe there is some size check but I didn't look deeper into it.

Or use ffplay.exe from ffmpeg ;)

I was recently using my Wii U without a tv monitor connected to it, but I found that the Homebrew Launcher does not show anything on the gamepad screen. Wasn't the HBL supposed to mirror the image on both screens? Other homebrews like wupinstaller show up fine.

How we can "validate", an app, cos and meta.xml? I invented the values (title ID, group ID, company and product code...) I put the rpx that I got with wut (HBL rpx version) I validated the .tga files with a program and in content I put the same folders that @punderino 's System Config Tool (they aren't specific for a game, are "mondial") and I packed it with NUSpacker successfully (I invented the 32 numbers encryption key) and when I tried to install it with WUP Installer Y Mod it gave me an error 0xFFFxx442, I know this is a region fail but I put EUR region so its good. And other try to get it to work when I have installed it I tried to opened it and gave me 199-9999 error
Can Dimok, Maschell or someone help me pls?
Bye!
