So i've got redNAND and i'm trying to do USB loading but EVERY time I plug my USB into my PC it wants me to format it. I format it plug it in my Wii U and it asks me to format it. I format it. I plug it into my PC. Asks me to format it.

So how can i make it work in my PC without formatting it.

Thanks!

This is intentional. The two filesystems are incompatible with each other so you'll have to choose.

But if I format it on my PC it lets me put files on it but then I plug it in to my Wii U for USB loading and it asks me to format it so how can I fix it because I dont want to switch.

Thanks!

... Are you daft, or just a punk?
Wii U formatted drives are Wii U formatted, console specific, encrypted, unreadable by PC. What part of ANY guide you read, said you need to plug the thing to your PC? None, we use the SD card, I think just about every guide tells you this. To install stuff on the USB plugged to your Wii U you write the installable files in a folder to SD card, and then use either SysConficTool or WupInstaller to install it.

But how do people do USB loading with redNAND?
I think you need to learn some more basics of how to read and follow tutorials.

You are asking questions that literally would be answered by even just glancing at the tutorial. Nothing ever in any tutorial mentions ANYTHING about hooking up to a PC. Then you ask, "well then how do you do it?"

Read the RedNand tutorial. That's how you do it.

Don't worry I worked it out now. Using wup instaler, they install it to the usb.

Just another question, if I have a game on my SD and I want to install it to sysHDD then would I get a brick because I heard you should only install on USB.

Installing unsigned software to the sysNAND menu will not result in a brick, it just won't work.

You need to patch signature checks using iosuhax and/or redNAND before the console will even let you install it.

And once you have installed it, if you attempt to launch the title without signature patches, the Wii U will just refuse to launch it, giving some kind of NNID error.
