ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

I did some testing and: if you mess up/corrupt your town you can get it back via the CTR SaveDataFiler (.CIA or .3DS file) Just delete the secure value (R+X in the User tab) before importing. I was able to successfully fix my town this way.

Just a few nitpicky things: Some clothing items still appear wrong in game (like the my melody dress showing up as a moldy dress), but other than that i've been able to edit my acres, villagers, and items without too many problems! Thanks for all your hard work! <3 @marc_max

Hm, I used this and it's now telling me that this isn't the last savedata saved, when it is. The SVDT fails to write the secure value, too. Any advice?

item 0x2122 on the editor is showing as a question mark and in game it was a mushroom that turned out to be a Mush Closet

this might be the wrong place to post this (idk where else to post this question/thing i am experiencing) so i'm playing the game (updated version now as i have updated it yesterday) and tried cheating in Blue Roses from powersaves (in the animal crossing new leaf (1.0) section of the cheats) and normally you would think "oh it will just put the blue roses in the game" right? WRONG! it didn't even add it though the code went through safely..when i use any of the item codes from animal crossing new leaf (welcome amiibo update) it works and adds them in the game...i don't understand this...does it mean that all the previous items are no longer able to be cheated in due to updating? or just i'm doing something wrong..anyone know?

I just used the editor a bit ago but it somehow corrupted my data. is there a new method to use the garden_plus.dat file?? I used the cia version of jksv and made a fresh save of my town. got some items and it corrupted. was some of the newer things letting ya know.

hopefully datel re adds the items as some can't be gotten without powersaves/trading with others in diff regions

All of the item codes have essentially been bumped within the update.
we dont know enough about the items in the update to generate them without error.

What types of acres were you able to modify?
youre the first garden_plus user to report a successful acre edit

we dont know enough about the items in the update to generate them without error.

so this will help? i used save data extractors b4 and save editors so this shouldn't be that bad. but why does it say always restore your save? isn't that just injecting the file back into the game thru save editor apps? also what if i am using a firmware higher than 10.7 (currently running latest firmware but OOTHAX works on it still)

ok now it is giving me a Missing target title error even though i have the game in the 3ds..when i use one of the other save editors it allows me to use the game. something i did wrong?

It seems max bells doesn't work, clothing is off, and unlock all PWP crashes game. Other than that, the update is pretty stable.

have you tried giving you the badges in the game? i tried giving myself the badges but i also did some acre editing as well as other editing so i cant really pinpoint what made my game crash.

i'm back, i haven't found any other major bugs, but if you change a villager to someone else, then change them back, their house will be screwed up. also, this may not be related to the editor, but playing the Wii U/3DS crashes the game. i'm thinking it might not be related because i started this new town with move-in data from the old ACNL, which gave me a few problems, like my secret storage was filled with trees and i actually got the prizes from the games in the mail without playing them.
moving buildings is fine now too.

what am i doing wrong now? i put the save manager files in my sd card where it wanted me to but when i try putting in ACNL, it doesn't see it.
