I just set up rednand and unlink the sysnand now I can not see my usb games nor the usb drive, I think I need to format the hdd and reinstall all the games in rednand
Yes formatting sysnand will make it so you have to format your hdd. After that though installed games on USB will show up on both nands once reinstalled.

thanks, I prefer unlink my sysnand now I'm going to install the games again :yayps3:

Now I installed my games in rednand but I can see them in sysnand even though I formatted sysnand, now the question is I should play in rednand or sysnand? What happen if I run a game in sysnand who was installed in rednand with dlc?

I have a few question about the dumps:

- I tried to deduce suitable dd commands from the sd dumper source - are these correct?
The first two commands should be "model independent", the third command applies to 8 GB models,
for 32 GB models the count must be adjusted! (EDIT: get the count for 32 GB models from a big-endian 32bit uint at offset 0x228!)

Code:
dd if=/dev/[SDZ] of=./slc.raw bs=512 skip=1280 count=1048576
dd if=/dev/[SDZ] of=./slccmpt.raw bs=512 skip=1049856 count=1048576
dd if=/dev/[SDZ] of=./mlc.raw bs=512 skip=2098432 count=15532032
([SDZ] is your sd card obviously...)

- SLC and SLCCMPT are 512 MB each. One is vWii and one the Wii U system software partition, right? Which is which?
Also, is it normal that the SLCCMPT starts with 1MB worth of 0xFF ?

- MLC size is 7584 MB. Is this really correct? MLC+1xSLC is 96 MB short of exactly 8 GB...

- Are there any tools to decrypt my nand dumps?

- And on to my last question about the dumper itself, since I had a short look at the source code after some unfriendly remarks earlier in this thread...
What I understand from the source code is the following: If a read fails, it is retried. However, the dumper only retries two times for SLC and five times for MLC. If the read still fails, the program continues in the same path as if the read had actually succeed. So my question is: If this correct, is this really enough to reliably dump the nand? While dumping SLCCMPT I had lots of "retry 2" messages...

No, the code itself is not logically written. I changed it on my end to bail if it doesn't get a good read and just moved forward. I can't cause it to fail though, so I have no way to evaluate the real-world effect.

Hello guys,

Is it possible to brick the RedNand by installing games download with FunkiiU + onlineTickets (with correct regions) ? I have EUR console/games and when I installed Yoshi's wooly world with Wup Installer Mod Y, the redNand take longer too boot with a notice " Attempting sockets ! ", then the console show a Wii U error asking to eject the disk if there is any and shutdown the console ...

After re-injecting my NANDs files in the SD, It's working again but the game (Yoshi) tell me that it isn't tied to that NNID and Ask me to buy it again ... Re-installing the game (without modifying files) with System Config Tool made it works, but the notice of "attempting socket !" is back when booting RedNAND ...

Any Ideas ? Thanks mates :)

Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)
