Hacking Help Downgrading my 2ds.

Hey All. My goal is to downgrade my sons 2DS he is getting for his birthday (monday).
Right now I have two 3DS one has luma 3DS with arm9 loader hax installed on 11.2.0-35E. I have bought fieldrunners and put the public.sav file in the right place and steel wars downloaded from the eshop but cant seem to get steelhax installed on this 3ds.
on the other 3ds it has lumaCFW installed on 11.1.0-34.

On the 2DS I am trying to downgrade has 11.0.0-33e I cant seem to get into Homebrew channel using browserhax telling me I have to upgrade firmware I have also tryed using oothax but it just keeps telling me No and needs restarted.

I know I need to be able to get into homebrew on my 2DS so i can load ctr-httpwn so I can system transfer to downgrade after.


I have been trying to get this working for like 2 weeks.

are you setting steelhax for the right FW etc?

Both 3DS's need to be on the same FW to do the transfer, same with oothax are you using the correct settings to inject the save?

when I try to install steel hax it i get error 00000030 on the a9lx 3ds. yeah I have tried numerous things with oothax all seem to be leading to the same thing i get into game press the start button and get an error.

I didnt realise I had to have the same firmwares for the transfer to work. I just thought 1 Had to be a CFW 3ds with access to some stuff

your signature? I have been following that but got upto steel hax on the cfw 3ds with no joy on it installing as I am getting error code : 00000002 the title this sploit_installer is running is not supported.

right I have just finished transfer but now the 2DS is on loop connecting to the internet then giving me a error code 005-4273

Try disabling WiFi

Its a 2ds Had to run long the street out of my wifi range then change my dns setting .

Next part should be:

Continue to Homebrew Launcher (No Browser), using steelhax for your entrypoint instead of one of the ones listed.

So yeah just finish the guide and ask here if you have any questions along the way

Yeah just use your oot3d as the entry point

Yeah I've had that a few times. Just take the sd card out to boot then reinsert it go into homebrew and downgrade again
