from an older firmware to a newer firmware is called upgrade or update (not sure which one)
you don't need neither an hardmode (but you can do it) neither dsware
you can update using a real game cart you can search on 3ds db for games that include that specific update

but what if time fluctuates? it can be slower and faster in some ocasions but because you are under universe and obeing it's laws, if time sudenly freezed and continued, you wouldn't notice it a single bit because when time itself stops, both everything around you and your own self freezes as well, thus you can't really notice it...
so.. what if it was your mind that actually speed or slowed down? then it would give the impression about everything around you is speed up or slowed...

when you revive you exchange the inside body for a robot and install a gateway card

Yeah, it's a problem with the flash uploader (which is the default).
Make sure you have the latest version of flash installed.
Alternatively, you can disable the flash uploader in your preferences.

how can i use sunlight uploader? i don't like to use flash cuz it doesn't make them uploads feel natural.. and wastes them batteries. sunlight is much better
