Is there a game you ALWAYS have to play at least once a week?

For me, it all began a sunday morning of 2003... I used to have a Windows XP PC and a CD-R with Zsnes and some ROMs... among them "Tetris Attack" which I thought it was a hidden sequel of TETRIS for NES which I loved playing in my "Super Joy II" Famiclone when I was 4 years old in 1996/1997...
Ever since I've been playing that game rigorously at least once a week.
I LOOOOVE that game, is so much fun.

My favorite is Pokémon Puzzle League due to nostalgic reasons... but I've played all the game's versions, SNES, GB, N64, GBC, GBA, GCN & NDS, including Japanese Versions with the exception of cancelled "Panel de Pon 64"

What about y'all?

diablo 2.

lord knows how many hours I put in on PC.

I own about 350 games on Switch.

If you combine how much time I've spent on every game besides Diablo 2, Diablo 2 wins by a landslide.

God I love uBlock for blocking FB, hahahaha.

As far as must in gaming, nothing since like 2010, but back then - Ultima was rightfully my 2nd life while I played and then AvP2 and JK2/A were absolute staples of sweat. After all of those died down, and I discovered Xlink - PSP MonHun Freedom Unite would have me disappear from IRL existence outside of school for weeks at a time.

Well not in that level of "neediness" but I find myself going back to games like Sonic 1,2 and 3, or Mário Land 2, SMB 3, or Snow Bros (arcade), a lot more often than any other games.
Quick games to just up and faf about in and move on with the day or night, and in fact I used to LOVE Super Dodgeball Advance/franchise as a whole for that same factor. Helluva underrated games.

Oh i love that game franchise. Huge fan of Kunio Kun games, but expecially the Dodge ball ones and my all time favorite Nekketsu Soccer League .

Yes definitely one of my go to games also.

Not once a week, but I've posted frequently about Grand Theft Auto III and Mega Man games.

I'm currently working on the Tightened Thrice mod for Grand Theft Auto III, which adds a higher difficulty (and more) to the missions. It's a nice way to revisit it. I haven't finished it yet, so I don't know if it gets obscenely hard, but what I've played so far has been do-able.

I just discovered Mega Man X8 16-Bit, and I didn't know how much I needed a new SNES Mega Man X game. I pulled back on progressing because I finished all eight of the main stages, and I need to go back and collect everything I missed. So far, I give it high marks.

Nowadays, I'm playing shards of infinity almost daily on my tablet.
Since it's not exactly the most renowned video game, I'll elaborate: it's a deck builder in which you both start at 50 lives and level 0, and by buying cards you either aim to bring the other to zero, or reach level 30 and use one of your starting cards to deal infinite damage. The physical card game has a few expansions but those never made it into the app (makers are too busy implementing dominion). There's no DLC, updates, grinding or even real progression outside single duel matchups that take roughly 10 minutes (I know every card by heart at this point).

(Small note: tetris attack is awesome. Yet to try the diferent implementations/weird names, but I've had my period where it was a go to game for me).
