Is it forbidden to talk about the new exploit (Brazilian exploit)?
The topic about it was locked

It is not forbidden.
The thread was closed because it was a huge shitposting fest.

I will wait for the work of team salt even if i need to wait a year because if i do something i want it to be as safe as it could get, so that if something happens i have enough knowledge to fix it myself.

How can a brick be permanent if you have a NAND backup? Anyway, ok thanks for the advice :P, second thing, with the latest news on gbatemp (i'm talking about installing titles on USB/NAND) are we safe or not?
Blowing some more fuses on the OTP (is that even possible?) to change keys, write to NAND so many times that the hardware starts failing, I dunno I'm not a malware dev

Wait a sec, what? A new exploit showed up? IOSU? Huh? Can someone tell me what happened, all the threads seem to be one big shitfest only!

A LOT have happened!
We got a new way to install games for free.
IOSU exploit has been released.
EmuNAND/redNAND with sign patches is here as well. :D

Forgot to mention that the RedNAND released is a little funky and not fully mature yet, and it is not from SALT. Kind of important to let everyone know that before they go jumping in.

It's still in beta and a report of someone bricking their Rednand has been confirmed, if you're not essentially a power user ID avoid it currently, unless you've got a hardmod which I doubt, you'll find bricking a liability

tl;dr:
really shitty redNAND, the NAND dumps fail 95% of the time and even then you can get a franken-dump which is subtly fucked.
sig and cert patches - free games and homebrew for all.
homebrew on menu - requires packing a decaf-emu/wut .rpx into NUS format with makecfmaster, an SDK tool (have fun with that)
dev tools - requires repacking and resigning with the retail common key using makecfmaster.

wait for salt bruh

SALT is the solution, where is Team SUGAR? ;)
