Hacking SPECULATION: A strategy to load games off USB! (No loader)

I think they've been quiet because, not only did some trusted people say that the exploit is being made by someone who doesn't want to be named, but also because they want to minimize the brick rate, which is something people should be happy about, and not rushing them.
Also, i think people should stopping thinking about a release date being "Tomorrow" because King_Cerelepe corrected himself after saying that by saying "By next week".

Yeah, and also it wasn't supposed to be leaked that soon, a member from the fb group posted the details in the trump thread. Most of the focus is the fb group, that is why they are more focused on testing the Wii U before uploading the patched games.

The dev only posted a few comments in the group:
- Injected save worked with SM3DL;
- Only PAL versions of Splatoon and Mario Maker are working;
- Region-Lock hasn't been tested, but it's believed that it can't be avoided;
- It's similar to the 3DS legit cias (but I don't know if it was an easy way to clarify a member doubt).

King_Cerelepe is in charge of testing the games, the dev is the one who is going to deliver infos about the method.

Also, a bit of topic:

I can't speak for everyone, but when it's related to Nintendo most Brazilians aren't anti-piracy.
Nintendo stopped shipping games to Brazil, which made them even more expensive than before, Mario Maker costs about half of a minimum wage (about 800R$, or about 240 USD).

He always posts like that, he thinks it will make them release it faster or show more proof, instead of finish what they working on. He is a guy who expects his wishes granted or he's mad. Normal.

I've noticed a few people doing that, it's just better to give a proper response with reasoning than just labelling off a posts as being "mad"

Yeah agreed! Its very true all these big time celebrity/PM's etc.. they all do it, shuv the white stuff up there nose to give them the edge. I suppose if they think it will give them the winning speech then they will do it, nothing is left to chance.

I think they should instead of uploading the patched games, try to make some kind of patcher so any user with experience can patch the WUD (I want that even more now that I learnt I can't play Splatoon).
If they feel comfortable with it, they should also try and talk with some of the more "skilled" hackers from GBATemp and try to maybe ease their workload or something.

Also, off-topic too:
I myself was able to buy Sm4sh for R$315, which is almost 100$, and the Wii U itself for R$2000, which is over 600$, and most people (including me) think that it's more than enough money spent in one videogame.

Local Store, which, to be fair, actually had it a little bit over the default price (around 280 - 300 BRL) because it was around christmas time and they wanted to jack the price up.
In Brazil videogames are actually considered "Gambling tools" and therefore have an enormous tax (Which is exactly the reason Nintendo stopped selling their stuff here).

We have to pay more because of taxes, if we buy a physical copy. We can only manage to purchase something from the eShop if we use an international credit card.

That is why games are going to be uploaded. Most of the users from our community don't understand much about hacking a console, that way it's going to be easier for them to play.

If they're WUDs, sure, that seems like it's the only requirement (other than patching).
I don't think you can do injections unless someone finds out some way to convert a loadiine-ready back to a WUD, but it might very well be possible.

I know I can already dump my games with ddd and play them through loadiine, but that's just too much of a hassle to have to restart the exploit every time I reboot the console.
This would be much nicer, being able to just launch them from the home menu.

They said they were releasing a patcher, I'm assuming they're just uploading games that have worked well for them to minimize people installing bad rips/out of region/incorrectly patched games that may cause a brick.
