If the rumors are true and NX is in fact a hybrid console, which of the 3DS Flashcards are more likely to have NX support (assuming that the NX has retro-compatibility with the DS series)?

Why use a flashcart? Assuming the NX backward compatibility is like the wii u's vwii you could just hack the v3ds (or something). No point of a flashcart.

...that is speculating so hardcore I don't know what to think.

If I had to, I would hedge my bets on the Sky. Gateway wouldn't have a chance, seeing as it doesn't work on newer firmwares (afaik) and a backwards compatible emulation thing would most likely be on the latest firmware. Then again, the Wii U's Wii mode was easily hacked, so there's REALLY no way to even guess.

This is assuming the NX will be backwards compatible with anything. What if the flashcarts just don't work? Like they don't get recognized? We don't even know what the NX IS. COME ON
...that is speculating so hardcore I don't know what to think.

I have a feeling completely new flashcards would have to be developed. I'm guessing Nintendo would be smart enough to block whats already out there, but you never know.

They still got 3ds models to sell, but I think 3ds compability is partially why nothing has been revealed.

Better question is if the nx is portable and we want to play games 32gb how big of sd would be needed. Or do we have to carry a hard drive with us:wacko:

Lmao what? The NX hasn't even been announced yet, and you're trying to speculate if 3DS Flashcards are gonna work on it? Maybe go out and take a walk, clear your head and get some exercise.

>Hasn't been announced

>Has release date early next year

I'm pretty sure Nintendo isn't stupid next time with vWii U or whatever v will happen, especially since vWii hacks could be used on day 1 lmao, although they fixed Letterbomb in vWii somehow.
Sure, it's with Smash and some other games, but they could modify vWii with some patches maybe, but ok. Let's see what happens.

3ds systems should be cheap enough to the point where people can easily get one by the time the nintendo switch has been out for a while so don't think this is needed.
