While you're probably right, it's always best to remain skeptical
I think it's unlikely at this point. NX release is right around the corner, so I expect most of their effort is going into that right now.

Edit: Maybe one more before NX releases, but I don't think it'll happen really.

Hmm, not to contradict dimok as he knows better than I, but the PHP method on 5.5.1 really does not like my Wii U. It always freezes at the mvplayer, even on nightly. The brewed MP4 gives me 100% though, even after save data reset. Sooo... *shrug* Could put both, mp4 as alt.

After more testing over the weekend I found the following on my predicament I listed before:

1. I'm running PHP version (it's the first option in my list)
2. The page says it's Loadiine v0.3, but I'm not sure exactly what core files it's using. If there's a later version (I know .4 is out but not sure if version numbering changed again) I can give that a try.
3. The issue happens when I'm in game and I do a hard-shutdown of my system (hold power button)
4. When I bring the system back up, I'm NOT greeted with the "You shouldn't hold the power button down, yadda yadda" message.
5. System act's fine until I go to launch the browser, then it locks up. Could be the same for trying to start other apps too, but haven't tried.
6. Once I do a restart from this state, everything works normally again.

All in all, I think it's an issue with how the system is shut down, and not flagged as an "improper" shutdown. Not a big deal for me but just thought I would mention and give some details on if someone can re-create it.

I should also mention that the exploit works 100% for me, it's just the freeze of loading browser after an improper that's not flagged improper shutdown.:)

2. It doesnt matter what version the webexploit says it is. It only matters what version is on the SD card. (Please guys correct me if im wrong)

I stopped updating the webexploit several versions ago in my AIO because I was under the impression that you just update the SD with nightlies and what not. When i tested this I was able to indeed update both loadiine and HBL by replacing the SD files only.

I dont think my latest package even has version labels anymore on the webpage.

It's still wise to keep DNS blocking up, though. You never know and it hardly seems worth the risk.

Mainly laziness on prospective dev's parts ("We've gotta wait for IOSU or no one will care about what gets produced!") and/or a lack of knowledge of how the system works (i.e. laymen like me who just observe the scene). As of right now I can count on one hand the amount of people currently developing on the Wii U

Ah okay so even when iosu comes out, we shouldn't expect much? my dream of emulating rareware games over ): .... for now?

I understand people just don't have the time if that's it

Stuff is in the works, it's just slow going and an IOSU exploit combined with the guy who made it has proven to be an excellent side-tracking tool ;D

Things are definitely in the works. Lots of testing and reprogramming ARE going on. I even hear talks if Mike_Pence working on something BIG

Well, I saw somewhere in this forum that some people are able to boot RedNand (nope, I'm not talking about devs). Can someone tell me what is going on here?

If it's legit it'll be released tommorow, have a great day noobs.

What a day. Some randoms have bested the temp... GG convenient hdd backups will be a thing :yayu:

Where their forums at?

Unless this is of course all fake... (doubt it since he has some other mods on his channel)

The temp's crown may have fallen to the spaniards
