I DONT WANT TO USE SOLDER....SO DIFFICULT
The problem isn't people replying or not replying. It's people too lazy to do a simple google search, so they just make a thread instead.I've got an idea. Let's just stop replying to these threads. It should solve the problem.
I think that if noone would reply they will eventually stop. Or maybe these threads should be removed or something, and they sould get a notification that their thread is removed because of spam. The problem isn't people replying or not replying. I mean, it's annoying, but ignoring them would most likely end up causing them to either make another thread or bump their current thread
And of course there's really no polite way to tell someone to simply do some research.

Do some research.
This is a bit of touchy situation. On one hand, these threads are stupid and the person behind them is clearly too lazy to google. On the other hand, mass reporting them as spam will only discourage the user from posting. You can't just remove someone thread because the person is lazy, that sets a bad image for the site and the staff. It also puts unneeded work on the staff to deal with.I think that if noone would reply they will eventually stop. Okay, then maybe the solution should be that you can't write "Downgrade" and "11.0" in title without guides popping up, and if you didn't read them and your thread is like 1000 other threads then your thread is removed. And you get notification that says link to the proper guide. This is a bit of touchy situation. On one hand, these threads are stupid and the person behind them is clearly too lazy to google. The best thing the community can do is give them the answer and give them guides to help research the topic. With a little hope, maybe they will learn to do some simple research.
I would like a google style auto-fill. Basically giving suggestions before you make a topic or at least using commonly used phrases like "Downgrade"Okay, then maybe the solution should be that you can't write "Downgrade" and "11.0" in title without guides popping up, and if you didn't read them and your thread is like 1000 other threads then your thread is removed. Yes. And there should be a warning sign:I would like a google style auto-fill. Basically giving suggestions before you make a topic or at least using commonly used phrases like "Downgrade"
But the google style auto fill would solve that problem. It would be better to get an answer even before asking a question. The simple answer is "Currently there is no other known methods beside the DSI downgrade guide, or hard mod guide (Which you can both pay to have someone do either of it for you if you feel they are better suited than you are)
It's simple,
Yes perhaps is bad people are lazy to do research but perhaps like me sometimes people just need interactive people to talk to about it. In my opinion is considered learning disabiility, doing research is not the same as discussing something with someone. You are all on your own, looking through the internet for information that can be either true or false (And there is plany of Hacks thaat have been false)
- Politely answer the question (Good guy)
- Ignore the thread and don't discuss what should be done about it (somewhere in the middle)
While asking someone by creating a topic allows someone to actually input their self into a interactive sitiation where if someone needs any other questions answered is can be done a lot easier. I do understand the irratation of this repeated discussion, talking about it does not get anyone anywhere, only actions do. People come to get help, you can help them or pretend you didn't see it.
I'm not sticking up for lazy people, and i'm not offending them, i'm just sharing another perspective on the situation. Everyone has their way of obtaining knowledge, it may not be the common way but is their way, I learn better discussing things with people feeling like they care and geniune concern about me having the best source of information. While others may do better on their own just looking through massive data space. We all have learning curves. Besides google isn't always reliable espcially with uncofirmed and fake information.
There is a notice about downgrading before creating threads in the 3ds section, which i guess he missed... But is not updated with current information which i had made a post about months ago.Yes. And there should be a warning sign:
"If your thread is about downgrading to 11.0, and you didn't read the suggested solutions, your thread will be automatically removed".

because google is a surefire way to find what is, by outsiders, sometimes perceived as secret knowledge or the latest status of the situation, right. This is a bit of touchy situation. or he can sell his console and use the money towards a new oneDSiwarehax which requires a second 3ds already running CFW.
or
Pay someone to install the hardmod for you. No other way around it.
