Hello! I was wondering if it is possible to take a modded game from hans, and somehow install it as a home menu icon. If that isn't possible, how do I make it a homebrew application? (Sorry if this is answered somewhere, but I couldn't find a thread on it and google was no help.)

I am on O3DS with Luma3ds system firmware 11.1.0-34U

as far as I know, going the CIA route has you unpacking the original rom CIA, adding in the mod, repacking as CIA and installing.

the "HANS" method is for homebrew-only users (without cfw)

I am pretty sure Luma3DS has this feature when you hold select on boot.

Alright, that's pretty much what I needed to know. In that case however, how would I repack as a CIA? I understand how to do the rest of what you described.

It's not too bad, if you get the PackEnglishV5.3 zip that asia81 made, you can decrypt the cia with decrypt9 on your 3ds, extract the cia with PackEnglishV5.3 on your PC, replace the files manually from the extracted cia then rebuild it with PackEnglishV5.3 and install it with FBI.
