I am on Part-3 (A9LH)Can you state which part of the guide you're on exactly?
From what I can guess, you're on part 3 section III
Are you still downgraded to 2.1? The next step would be to either restore a nand backup (Via Decyrpt9) then system update to 11.1, OR do a 9.2 CTRNAND transfer (Via decrypt9) then syste update to 11.1.
Oh and be sure to have a luma folder on the root of your SD, where the configuration file is saved to.
Did you check these things off in luma before press startSo while in the process of installing arm9loaderhax it is not possible to boot to the home menu. But it is possible to boot to the luma 3ds menu but when I put start to save it doesn't save. What do I do please help!
Edit: I am on Part-3 (A9LH)
Section 3
I did I need help to get to the home menu.Did you check these things off in luma before press start
- "Autoboot SysNAND"
- "Use SysNAND FIRM if booting with R (A9LH)"
- "Show NAND or user string in System Settings"
- "Show GBA boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM"
Try backing up and reformatting your sd card to MBR with an allocation unit size of 32KBI did I need help to get to the home menu know.
I can't get to the home menu or homebrew what do I do?Can you state which part of the guide you're on exactly?

I am sure Luma is currently capable of booting 2.1, at least on o3DS.Try booting into decrypt9. If that boots, then you are most definitely just on too old a firmware for luma3ds to boot

Menuhax remains, I assume? If so, that can be solved easily. You need to take the SD card out after Luma3DS loads, since he is in 2.1, having the SD card in while booting will make him stay in a black screen
I have tried to remove the extdata but it hasn't worked for meMenuhax remains, I assume? If so, that can be solved easily.
Huh. I don't remember much from the first time I installed A9LH after Luma supported 2.1, but I think it worked? Or did I restore a NAND backup?. I don't really remember, so I can't say for sure.I have tried to remove the extdata but it hasn't worked for me
I did A9LH again last night(I lost my otp) and I deleted the extdata. And it still didn't let me boot

Well, I frankly wouldn't bother. Restoring a NAND backup is less of a hassle, for me anyway. I would just either restore a backup or do a CTR transfer and then update to 11.1. I don't like bothering removing cards. I'm lazy. From this, its most probably just luck. If it doesn't boot, try to take the SD out after ARM9Loaderhax boots(basically wait 3-4 seconds)
Do remember, this is mostly for people that get the problem for the OPWell, I frankly wouldn't bother. Restoring a NAND backup is less of a hassle, for me anyway. I would just either restore a backup or do a CTR transfer and then update to 11.1. I don't like bothering removing cards. I'm lazy.
