So I made a forwarder for ConnectMii, and I made it with CustomizeMii 3.11. I converted it so I would work on vWii with Convert2vWii. Is it safe to install? Here is the WAD, it loads SD:\apps\ConnectMii\boot.dol. Thanks. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxxutY7017LxRzEtWnk5cVR0WVk

EDIT: I installed the .wad to Dolphin, here's what I got

Try installing it through Dolphin.
It freezes when I load the system menu(not the Wii, and program itself). I also have a bad CPU so I won't run as fast. And I have a vWii, not a Wii

Should I upload my NAND dump from the vWii?

What crashed? Dolphin or the CustomizeMii program? I installed in Dolphin, it loads the Menu fine

Dophin just gave me a message saying The system files are corruprted.

Well now it's not

I made a working ConnectMii for vWii...its in the forwarders are back thread.. (page 19) I believe : )

OK, I'll check that out!

OK, I dowloaded the .wad, now installing the .wad.

But what i wanted a forwarder for a app that doesn't have it's own forwarder? Could someone test my ConnectMii forwarder that I made on a vWii? The banner and icon is the icon for ConnectMii (SD:\apps\ConnectMii\icon.png)

Installed the ConnectMii forwarder you have me, it works! Thans

The dangerous part is not what the program does, but the animated banner.
If the banner is wrongly formed, the System menu will crash, and there's no way to fix it on vWii as you won't be able to bypass it and go to HBC.
if the forwarder code is the issue, then don't worry because you can replace it with a new wad install.
But, why bother with a wad to test your code? You can test your forwarder by launching the dol in HBC!

If you want to test the animated banner, why not use the real hardware ?
Make a Neek version of your vWii and install the wad on that emuNAND. see if sneek's system menu loads fine and can play the animated banner.

The banner is not animated. It just loads SD:\apps\ConnectMii\boot.dol. I loaded the .dol from HBC and it runs great

it's a wad not installing a channel on system menu ?
a forwarder without a channel ? what's the point.
There IS a banner, even if not animated. that's what needs to be correctly made or the System menu will banner-brick.

if you don't need anything fancy as animation, you could use a "generic forwarder" ?
There is one I'm using, which is reading a config file on SD card with a path to the dol to load.

Channel (blank banner) -> read SD -> read path -> load dol from that path.
