There was alot of people that had this problem. I would recommend backing up your saves and reinstalling those titles.

Was there a cause for this? Last week everything was fine and boom

My guess is the update itself. I use Luma3ds with A9LH so it didn't affect me.

Hey guys, I'm getting an error installing CIA files:

Failed to install CIA file.
Result code: 0xC8A08035
Level: Status (25)
Summary: Invalid state (5)
Module: AM (32)
Desc: <unknown> (53)

This first happened when I was Installing a set of DS forwarder cias. I chose to install all of them at once (25 to be precise) and after the 4th one was done installing, the same error appeared attempting to install each following file. I even tried downloading a DSi ware title and the same thing happened. It's like there's some sort of limit. I'm using a JPN N3DS with a 64GB sd card (20GB free).

Can you guys suggest anything?

EDIT: Ok, so I deleted one of the 4 previously installed forwarder titles after which I was able to install one new forwarder which hadn't worked before, so it turns out it is some sort of limit issue. Both DSi ware and DS forwarders are written to NAND, but how come there isn't any space left?

EDIT 2: I did some calculations and i have roughly installed about 135MB of DSi ware and DS forwarders on my NAND. CTR NAND says theres 701.2MB left while TWL NAND has 7.2MB and all the DS forwarder cias have 480KB, so why can't I install any more?

@Kinqdra there is a 40 title limit for DSIware. You may have hit this limit already. There is also limited space which you seem to have found out. This is because DSIware has to install to nand and not the SD card.

If you go to system settings though you can transfer already installed games into "storage" by moving them to the SD card where they will be "stored in an unplayable state" until you transfer them back to the system. So with some shuffling around you can have more than 40 on the system, but you can only have 40 of them in a playable state at once.

You can't update FBI in H&S without doing the whole injection process again.

And the reason it installs another FBI is because when it updates it tries to replace itself. H&S has an entirely different title ID and therefore is not the one that gets updated.

I just came up with an idea:

For the built-in updater, there can be an option to download the files for a H&S injection of the latest version. They would be downloaded to the files9 folder, and after that, the end user will only need to inject them with Decrypt9, thus making the H&S updating process faster and easier.

H&S injection is only supposed to be temporary. You're supposed to use it to install FBI then restore the original app.

You need to make the H&S injection process again with the newest FBI CIA.

Same process as the one you did for FBI, you just need the H&S clean CIA.
Or just getting the clean H&S CIA and installing it might be sufficient.
