growlanser wayfarer of time is quite possibly the most underappriaciated psp game of all time . it has an amazing story . 3 major plot routes . 40 different endings. an awesome cast . 20 differnet romance routes,not counting bromance . unique battle system that's a cross between an srpg and a rts game . a great soundtrack . and is just an amazing game . the story is very compelling nailing themes like politics and war perfectly . I cant stress enough how good this game is ........and no one has ever played it . would you be interested in playing it?

I know it, but the last time i know is the Heritage of War back on PS2, and my sister has played it.
And as i am working on my thesis, i can't play too much right now. But i will if i get the chance.

it is . it features one of the single best stories in a modern rpg . a unique battle system that's a cross between a sprg and a real time strategy game . a vibrant and colorful cast, no clichés here folks . a ton of damn good romance options . choices that are actually choices . not ,will you rescue the princess? , no. but you must . a very interesting alter fate system . where the actions you take , and the choices you make directly affect the lives of characters . a great soundtrack . and is allaround a unique and interesting game

I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it very few people have . but give it a try you will be quite surprised at how good is . BTW a good late game build for every character is . double strike . thorned power and vampire ex . this will make bosses much easier

Does it have any connection with the prequel though? If it so, I need to play it from the first and my hand is still full of Kingdom hearts series that I've been trying to catch on (7 entries and all of them is connected).

Nope . no connection . however you can battle characters from the other games . but no storyline connection

So it sets on different world just like Final Fantasy series or like Suikoden where the story seemingly have no connection but actually connected in some way because it set in the same world but in different years?

mistake . same world different continents and different times . each has its own self contained story . though with some similarities in the monsters . nothing really impactful to the story

Thanks, I think I will play from the first entry so I can be more immersed to the story. Though there's only english script available not a patched (I think). I will think about how I play this series later but there's already series that I need to done first:
1. Kingdom Hearts
2. Prof. Layton
3. SMT series. Mainly the Raidou Kuzunoha 1 & 2. Devil Survivor 1&2, SMT: III & IV
3. And between this, The Legend of Heroes or Inazuma Eleven. This have 4 entry, LoH have 5-6 entries meanwhile I can just watch the anime of Inazuma Eleven so maybe I will play this next.

you cant go wrong with the smt games , they are awesome , loved both ds 1 and 2 , you might wanna check out strange journey while your at it

i love grownlanser! i played 2 and 3 first and was very excited when they translated the 4.
is sad the first one is japanese only.
I played the 4 almost one month and i recommended everyone who likes anime rpg with strategy elements.
i need to play this again for other endings.

id recommend doing branching saves . if you want all the endings in the second go . and its sad so few people have ever heard of this awesome series
