Weren't their an item hack that was released quite a while ago for Gateshark? It required a rev 0 of MK7. I have the older revision of the item code, and I haven't been playing the 3DS in a long time now.

Yes, you do. And in order to get one you need to be in a exploitable firmware. So far 10.7 had the last arm11 exploit for downgrading and legit cia installation. However, 11.0 users needed to have a second already hacked 3ds to accomplish a downgrade, but i'm not sure if the same method is available for 11.1 users. Another solution is to hardmod your 3ds..

How hard would it be to find someone near you with an already hacked 3ds? You could sell your 3ds and buy an exploitable one too...
