Hello GBATemp.

So, I have a O3DS XL EUR with A9LH (Shadow Nand) and I'm using the latest commit of Luma and I have the latest Firmware version.

I want to try the game called Smile Basic, however, I can only found the USA Cia. Since with the latest firmware I need to install the latest update of Smile Basic USA, and I can't found it on "That Iso Site", I need to do a Region Changing to USA, download the Update of Smile Basic and after undo the Region Changing to EUR Again. With this process I have some questions:

  • Since I have my NNID linked to my sysNAND, if I create a Emunand, change the Emunand Region and after download the Update, would it be possible to transfer the update from my Emunand to my Sysnand ( or create a cia of it)?
  • If the previous answer is negative, I would change the sysNAND region. Since that would unlink my NNID would I be able to link it again after re-changing the region to EUR?
Thanks in Advance

Use freeshop. The European version of SmileBASIC is right under the USA SmileBASIC. Then you shouldn't need to region change at all!

I can't found it. However, I'm trying to download the Update via freeshop.

[UPDATE] It didn't work.

I couldn't found one with Smile Basic Eur or with the latest update, Would you mind to send to me yours ( since you could see it using yours maybe it should work)
Search "that title keys site" on google. (I can't link to them directly.)

Click the qr code button next to "enctitlekeys.bin"

Scan that with freeshop.

Now it should auto-update your titlekeys!

The option to scan the qr code is under the "Update" tab. Then click the qr code next to the box where you can insert the exact link for the titlekeys.

Oh. Well, I just checked. It must have been taken off. Just get Petit Computer as it is the same coding language! Or you can BUY it from the eshop. But who does that anymore? Lol.

Isn't Petit Computer limited to DSi power? SmileBASIC should be better.

Either way though, if you region change and it isn't on FreeShop, it still won't be on FreeShop.

Wait. Hold on. I just remembered! Luma is Region Free! Just install the USA copy of SmileBASIC! You will be completely fine!

But it to boot needs the latest update 3.3.2 and I can't download it unless i do a Region Changing
Just go into the tab with the game controller icon and tap on SmileBASIC then click update. Then go to the downloads tab and it will install the update!
