Hacking 11.1.0-34 firmware update out

I have an Old 3DS with rxTools and MenuHax, can I update without risks?
Will this mess my 3DS running my Acekard 2i?

Yes if you dont Revert your Patched TWL_FIRM and since your on rxtools may i guess that you've also patched your AGB_FIRM if you use GBA VC?

I don't understand much of this, but I can play GBA VC if I install on both emuNand and sysNAND

So my only option for using any kind of save manager aka JKSM, was through homebrew. Is there anything I can do right now to be able to access some kind of Save manager with homebrew not working? My gfs 3DS hasnt been updated yet and i can still access menuhax on it but games like Fantasy life and MHX save to the SD card itself and not the cartridge. Im just trying to know my options as of right now. CFW is prolly a no go as well at this point. I just wanna know what i can do with my gfs ds right now to kinda use it for my own stuff. Idk. If worse comes to worse ill just wait until payloads are updated and stuff but reading through this whole thread the only real facts that iv'e pulled out is Homebrew = dead. DSIWare= still might work.

If you use the JKSM .cia version you'll be fine

again like i said if your (highly likely as i recall RXTools users had to patch TWLFirm for older cards like the AK2i and AGBFIRM to run VCs (still having to install on Emunand and Sysnand) if you've patched em you will either Brick or just flat out fail to download the update unless you revert to Stockversions of em. unless you have a FBI vers 2.XX+ injected into H&S/installed aftre updating you cant revert back to those patched versions and will loose being able to run your AK2i and GBAVC's untill payloads update to let you use any manager to install these/re-inject FBI.

as well since your using MenuHax i'd suggest using the menuhax version of ctrbootmanager thsi way you can Boot w/ easy between rxTools and Luma even other Homebrew. (homebrew loaded that way wont be aware unfortunately of your Emunand.)

like i stated earlier to @TimX24968B why your going to have so many Luma3DS users Suggest you Switch (which is Easy as Replacing the .dat and adding the /3DS/luma folder to the SD) is a prevenetative measure before an Update screws you over and you get stuck on a FW version that may take some time to revert / Downgrade or giev you Access to your CFW without the nee dto hardmod.

ummm You dont. the only DS Save Dump/Injecting we have is via Decrypt9 & FBI (i belive FBI only supports save dumping from teh cart)

Nah, the home menu and kernel hooks are defined in the open source part, which is extremely helpful for updating it to the latest version

Now I just need to figure out how to get an axiwram dump...

be wary every time you do an update w/o temp reverting these patched Firms it can Cause havoc

i dont use CIA anything, i just got into modding my ds like 2 weeks before this update so i never really got the chance to learn much. My menuhax doesnt load becuz my DS got updated. Hers does becuz i havent updated it yet. Her DS was only running Menuhax becuz i bought her a DS for her birthday becuz she kept using mine to play fantasy life and she wanted her save file on her new ds. I use homebrew to edit pokemon shuffle and Monster Hunter Generations. but looks like im beat. ima just update hers cuz it doesnt really do me any good. It just prevents us from accessing the eshop or playing specific games online. Guess ima just patiently wait till a new exploit hits however long thats going to take.
