Wish people would learn to Read before stating incorrect facts. this is likely the 10th time i've stated, "BootNTR Works it needs the newest version from the thread i posted + a CFW capable of loading an 11.0 NFIRM firmware.bin (DEV Luma/Puma3DS and others.)

Iirc it also requires HOME to be downgraded.

No. Don't update to 11.1, and don't update Luma if you don't want to.

actually using the latest Dev luma + the new build and a 11.0 firmware dumped from before i updated i didnt need to downgrade the homemenu.

If you don't mind losing the HbL: just do it!

To use NTR you need a CFW that loads a firmware.bin/native from 11.0 and a 11.0 HOME menu installed.

Why don't you go back to use an older firmware file for ReiNAND?

Where do I go for that, have not done this in a long ass time -.- but I did also try to use a backup with 11.0 but when done it was still 11.1 so atm kinda bummed but happy cia games still work

I want a solid answer to this question: DOES RXTOOLS STILL WORK ON 11.1 AND CAN IT BE UPDATED TO IT WITHOUT OTHER ISSUES? (please don't change the subject of my question, thanks.)

Also, for those without CFW, will custom home menu themes be affected by this update? (i have 2 friends who just want custom themes on their 3DSes, and i heard the home menu got changed this update, so i want to know

Third, i saw people commenting about save editing: does it still work on cfw?

Just be careful. Or you could change the dns settings to block the updates. But if you do that, IIRC you can't go into the eshop and other stuff like that with HTTPWN.
