What does the friendlist module have to do with bricking/banning users? First of all its pretty messed up that they can even do that after you pay like 200 bucks for there system in the first place...

Well as said before it whas sarcasm, what it does is that after a sever change Online Play only allow to connect you if friend-list module is the last one in most of games. (There are a few games and apps that don"t need to update the console)

well there is no reason to update as ctr-httpwn works on 11.0

I was told hardmod downgrade still works. no minimum versions were updated. therefore DSiware hax still works too.

Gateway Menu doesn't work after update, but boots with a9lh 4.1b...

Ahh, so DSiware downgrades still work? Sorry there are just a bunch of mixed answers for all this stuff. Most likely Menuhax & browserhax were patched like Nintendo always does.

Yea, but Homebrew and NTR is dead (obviously) I've already updated mine, everything else works fine, I can go online, play my games that I installed from Freeshop and so on

I haven't heard of a A9LH user having a problem yet. I updated all my DS to latest firmware and they're fine. (I have a 11.0 backup so I'm all set ig lol)
