Ah I noticed that while loading save file, it shows the original player level instead of the one we edited to.this is my issue too. i have maxed out the party, but Yu keeps reverting. As i said, he isn't locked in to one persona, so he has his own level and stats. it doesn't matter if i use the "calculate from Level" button or not. he keeps reverting back.
Note that the data shown on the save slot itself will not update until you save again. This resolves the issue that occurs if you change the date and it doesn't update in the save slot info. However the player level will still not update in save slot info no matter what you try. But until you do a battle at all the game will register you are the level you edited it to and you will have the appropriate stats and can fuse personae you would otherwise be unable to. So it does have its uses still. But once you do a battle it will revert back. Either the save editor needs to edit another value to make it permanent or the game as some sort of unfinished anti cheat system that they ended up not using. Unlikely but a possibility.Ah I noticed that while loading save file, it shows the original player level instead of the one we edited to.
Hey guys might have jumped the gun a bit on this one, but I might have placed the molecular patch folders before doing the near/game manual thing and now I can't delete the patch folder in my ftp and help would be tremendous cheers!
whoa worked perfectly thanks gangly
Just one more question I'm having trouble with step where you run the game after placing the molecular files in the patch directory containing the title id but when I go to run the game it just plays normally without showing the molecular ui
i found a way to decrypt the save file ftp:
1. go to ux0:/app/vitashell download the EBOOT.bin
2. go to ux0:/app/gameid download the EBOOT.bin of the game
3. change the EBOOt.bin of the game you want to edit to vitashells EBOOT.bin
4. close VS boot up the game it should boot the vitashell
5. connect to your ftp again
4. go to savedata0: you will see your save data file it should be decrypted
5. do the editing up to you. after that
6. replace your save data file with the edited one
7. go back to ux0:/app/gameid upload back the original game EBOOT.bin
if by dumped game you mean I owned the game and did it myself then I will be honest and say no, but I believe it's still dumped in the relatively same method.
With the method you've listed I'm trying to change the eboot.bin of the game (ie P4G) to vitashell's (vitashell overwriting p4g's eboot.bin) but unable to pops up with an error copying files to remote side failed.
And with the RinCheat I've installed the plugin and accessed the main menu in-game and selected export game saves but I don't see it appearing where the readme says it should appear.
