quick question, if you plan to use a9lh with luma, why would you buy a 60-70 dollar cartridge that is only compatible with a crappy CFW which is most likely in end of life ?

I already "wasted" the money which I'm going to use to buy the Gateway/Sky3ds+ with original 3DS games, so I'm not losing anything. Plus, I don't like for games to be on the home menu, besides there's the 300 app limit.

trust me, if you believe you will reach the 300 app limit, you don't want a Sky3ds, imagine having to scroll for 300 apps, and then why don't you like having apps on the home menu ? it's much more convinient, but hey, i won't tell you what to do. i firmly believe that in this day and age, gateway is useless, only sky3ds is relevant as a flashcard. so you have the choice betweeen a flashcard where it takes you minutes to sort through 50+ games or an open source CFW which is constantly being worked on. you chose for youself.

Gateway is the best option if you're constantly editing and testing roms.

You don't want to install the same CIA 40 times a day just to test a few changes. It's going to take hours of your day just to get that CIA installed. If you make a decent living then it's better to fork over some money and get a gateway.

This is not for the majority as most people don't test roms on a daily basis, I know. But for those who do it's the best option and ignoring it, denying it or brushing it off only shows ignorance.
