NO! This isn't a request for a .cia that quickly shuts down the 3DS,

Im looking for more of a Payload or SysModule or something that when you press the power button it instantly starts shutting down.

Why?
So I dont have to hold the damn power button for 80 years for it to just ask me to shut down on the bottom screen, I want a way to just click the power button and it skips the asking to shutdown and just shuts down.

Anyone else in the need for this or am I the only one?
It's super annoying.

If you hold the button for 80 years:
A) Power module force-shutdowns the system in the first 10 seconds pushing.
B) You must have a terribly tired arm.

My point is system usually needs to do things to dispose everything. I guess you play the most a memory extended game like smash? In that specific case the shutdown time can be even more dramatic. Thats how N roll.

Yes I see your point, And thats not what I mean, If you realize it does all the disposing after you click the ShutDown on the bottom screen, I want it so that I "click" the power down button, And it skips the bottom screen prompt and just shuts down, No need it to insta-turn off, I just want it to auto-turn off.

For such a master coder you should be able to do this yourself. Or is it that nobody else has made it so you can't release your horribly butchered version of it?
If only I could block people - That was months ago and never involved you - Keep your opinions on that thread or in my blocked pm's.

I really don't know about it, but I think it may be impossible due the way BIOS involved in shutdown process.

Oh ok. I don't think it's possible or trouble worthy tbh. These power related things are usually very low level.

From my understanding, this use case requires to power down the system from the shutdown button. He may want to be able to 1-click-kill the system even in a game or some other reasoning.
Yes exactly, Its just annoying how the 3DS's power button works and as a Luma user you needa shutdown a LOT

it would be possible, you could just have code running in the background that if you press power button, you shut down.
you could make it happen after 1 second etc, that would be better.

i'm pretty sure something like that could be put into luma/others

Because its a .cia - Not just a PowerButton hook
I am confused as to why that matters? It does what you are requesting.
I am not against adding a PowerButton hook though, just wanted to point out that there seems to be something that already exists that does your request.
