Homebrew TerraInveditThreedee - Terraria3DS inventory editor

Just a heads up, the Frost Moon update has finally hit North America, and the editor won't load my characters anymore. Might wanna look into that.

It's about time the new update hit.

I cannot access my character save file after updating terraria to version 1.0.3 aka Frost Moon Update. Please look into this.

I was lazy to type this wall of text again, so I'll just quote it again:

Good timing, I just arrived home.
Whatd'ya mean it's not picking up on saves? It's not listing any? The items are corrupted? What happened?
(fyi, I was kinda futureproofing the code, so you can hold Y while the app is starting to list all files)
Can you please screenshot me the

1. player list
2. world list
3. file list (as I mentioned, hold Y while the app is starting (or start holding it until the file selector shows up))
4. the inventory of a player
5. inventory of a player in the app

and possibly the playerfile itself using SDF (or something that can read extdata)? It would be really helpful

Also, sorry for the long list of shit, but I can't test it myself, since I have the latest EUR update/"DLC" installed, and it works fine for me.

Holding y brings up a menu with 3 options.
Config opens up as a save, but is random unknown items and items I know I don't have on my character.
The other two just crash the program.

@MarcusD i wasn't saying you needed to update. Was saying it's about time that the Terraria update finally hit. US was way behind Eur release and then the update got denied and had to be resubmitted again which set it back an additional 2 weeks

Nah, it's okay It took me ~5mins to copy the code from the fake Nintendo64 emulator

Since you have A9LH, I assume you have FBI, so you can install the .cia file from FBI, just

get the cia version here

and install it.

Alternatively, if you have a newer FBI version (the non-console-looking one, that has a nice blue-ish GUI), you can select "Scan for QR code", and scan the QR code (the image with big white and black dots) in the first post to install it.

It's an old version, you should update to the latest I released a few minutes ago (see first post for version number)
Also, it's weird... Have you ever opened Terraria? Or do you even have Terraria installed? If yes, where are you running it from? Gamecart, SDCard (most likely), or NAND (least likely)?

Also, what version of FBI do you have? 1.x or 2.x?

Edit: I was reading thru' the C10 source code, and I think you have the latest version of Terraria (1.0.3), and no files were displayed, but you pressed "A", and this happened. Am I right?
Just update the .cia, and you should be fine

I don't understand

If you want to use the .3dsx version, you need to place the .3dsx (and optionally the .smdh) in /3ds
You can place the .cia anywhere you wanted, FBI can install it from anywhere.
If you have an ancient FBI, then set install location to SD.

Anyways, I don't think this is the full error message Is your devkitARM the latest version? Is ctrulib the latest version? If you have an old devkitARM, then update it. If you have the latest ctrulib, then downgrade it.

Yeap, it was my devkitARM, I always update ctrulib, I updated 30min ago and worked just fine xD
