Were you cloning a psp bubble that was already on the vita?
The app downloads your original bubble automatically, then downloads/modifies your app.db file.
Then it automatically uploads the clone bubble and the modified app.db file.
The bkpapp.db file is placed in the root directory of the script (on your pc, not the vita).
After the process, you should just reboot your vita and a new bubble will be on the last page of your homescreen.
If the bkpapp.db file is missing, something must have gone wrong during the script.
Did it take a while to download/upload the bubbles (depending on your internet connection and the base bubble size, 5mins+)?

I think I figured out why It seemed to work without making a bubble or installing VHBL. I am on windows 7 and using filezilla. I see error screens scroll by real fast when I do the installer. You can do FTP without filezilla on new versions of windows. So should I use one of the old versions?

And how about if I use this cloned bubble and sign an ISO backup with base game? Is it a possible way to play psp isos?

I created a clone of a ps1 bubble, but when I boot it, it says e-ffffffff
I also can't delete the bubble?
It doesn't show any information except the name

Tried this with PS1 bubble, didn't work though :/
Sorry, I never really meant for this to be able to clone ps1 games and I don't own any to test with.
Without any exploits, what would be the point in cloning a psx bubble?

I am just experimenting some stuff, but I can maybe fix the bubble, so thank you anyway! :)
Will report back if I got it cloned :)

All good, if you get it working please tell me what files are required and if possible, could you send me your app.db file?
I might add ps1 bubble support to the next version of the script if it works.

Is it possible for this to be made into a homebrew now that SQLite is working for Vita?

A native app on the vita would be much much faster as it wouldn't have to transfer anything to/from another pc, I'll look into it. Don't expect anything from me yet though, I still have a lot to learn.

You may want to look at AntiBlacklist as a reference.

But I guess, since we use the original files and just copy them over, that it is something with the app.db

I can't actually seem to get a bubble to appear. I'm using the LocoRoco Midnight Carnival demo, and I rebooted directly from molecular shell after all the transfers finished. All the files seem to be there.

Yep, I used the original ID +1. I ended up just replacing LocoRoco with VHBL by adding the PBOOT.BIN to the game folder and rebuilding the database.

That's strange, at least you got a vhbl bubble working.
Do you think you would be able to send me the app.db file from the autobubble/cache/TITLEID/ directory on your pc?
Also if possible, the name of the files located in ux0: pspemu/PSP/GAME/CLONEID/?

All good if you don't want to, I'd just be interested in seeing where it went wrong, so I can prevent it from happening again.
