My PS3 controller works perfectly with this. But does anybody else have problems with using this on Pokemon X/Y? The controller just doesn't do anything. If I go to the home menu however, it works fine.

Probably a issue with the game taking over the networking of the system. Try going online in game or disabling the pss.

I have used this in OR (disabled PSS)

GamePad toggle added to master branch and NTR branch added.

like shadowofdarkness said, either disable PSS communication or go online, while offline but pss is enabled, the 3ds switched the network to local wireless mode as it scans for local players.

Can't get the NTR version to work on O3DS. I boot up the CIA file, I boot up NTR, go into debugger mode, start the PC client, but
nothing.\

EDIT: Nvm it works!
EDIT2: Ugh, it only works in the home menu, not when I boot up Smash :(

Did you test it out with Smash/Monster Hunter? I couldn't get both of them to work with it, and I followed the exact steps.

I don't play either game but do have the Monster Hunter demo installed and it works fine with this, I got into the game and started walking around. But realize I'm on a N3DS so not rebooting into special modes has happened like your O3DS.

KazoWAR is it possible to send button combinations? I can't do the soft reset combo and have it work.

one o3ds when you boot smash the system reboots in extended memory mode, killing ntr and the hid patches.

After a few hours of testing the NTR version everything seems to be stable. The only bug is that I can't soft reset.
I can do two button combinations like L+R to open the camera but not three L+R+Start buttons like is used for soft resetting.

The debug info shows the different codes for different combinations of two buttons but nothing changes once I add the third button.

Also as a stretch goal please add some ability to script input. I have tried using xdotool with limited success but it frequently misses some of the keypresses which messes up the sequence badly.

The odd times it didn't miss any keypresses was nice. It would open the menus and use a Sweet Scent then wait and after a short delay where I could break the script if a shiny was found, it would run away and start over again.

I was finally able to figure out how to do a soft reset. I have start set as the return key but the main one doesn't want to work with it. When I do the the button combo using the return key that is part of the number pad it works fine.

Were you able to figure out the script input problem? I would be really cool to automate wondertradin
