It works the same on ux0 or gro0: app0 merges the app and patch folders.Isn't the decrypted gro0 data located at app0?
I've been able to dump carts from gro0:app just fine, so it's either a user or game-specific problem.

I was able to dump my game carts just fine. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully and everywhere it says ux0 you should do gro0 instead. Otherwise you end up with encrypted data like you said.Data copied from gr0 is still encrypted though.

Yep, compression was off... damn, I should've thought to try that sooner!https://github.com/s1cp/VitaGuide/wiki

Does that game happen to have a grw0: partition?Touch My Katamari cart refuses to load m.shell through the patch folder, triple checked and works fine with other games
Not a big deal but I figured I'd report it
No things yet, just modding games to do neat things like undubs and changing savedata. So did the thing become the thing yet or it still the thing on paper?
Honestly this should be as far as it goes in my opinion. Piracy would literally be the equivalent of cutting off the vitas blood supply at this point and I don't think anyone wants that.No things yet, just modding games to do neat things like undubs and changing savedata.
We'll see how it goes. I don't particularly care either way, most I'd want is the return of 3.52's cart installation where it still requires the cart once every boot.Honestly this should be as far as it goes in my opinion. If you followed the steps from the OP pastebin, you can access savedata over ftp by going to "savadata0:/" in your ftp client. For some reason I'm able to dump physical games all of a sudden.
How can I find the savedata0 directory?
Ah I didn't realize I had to actually type it in the directory field. I thought it just shows up like all the others. Thanks. If you followed the steps from the OP pastebin, you can access savedata over ftp by going to "savadata0:/" in your ftp client.
Is the savedata in savedata0: any different from the data found in the 00/user/savedata folder? If you followed the steps from the OP pastebin, you can access savedata over ftp by going to "savadata0:/" in your ftp client.

If so, try placing the patch folder there.

Nice, glad to know that not using compression makes it work, but the filesize must be hell to transfer over FTP (almost 3 GB whereas compressed correctly, it's about 1 GB)https://github.com/s1cp/VitaGuide/wiki

With SEGA being SEGA I don't think they're gonna make it that easy... Have you tried anything with vita pso2 at all out of curiosity? This tool fails with my Phantasy Star Nova CPK:
