Hey i'm Nevik! The GBA is still my one of my favorite handhelds to this day, and I like games ranging from popular to obscure.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area but i'm very new to forums in general. I feel stupid for asking but could anyone tell me how to send a private message, as well as anything else I might need to know about Gbatemp? I have already read the rules and regulations, i'm mostly just confused on how to do things. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Click on someone profile picture and then send pm

or go to your messages (the mail icon at the top right) and add someone name to the list of invitations to conversation.

Ahh.... ok! Thanks that makes a lot more sense a I couldn't find the option to do it anywhere! I needed to be able to send and receive pm's as i'm helping with a game translation.

Hi, I'm new here. I've posted over 10 times on a few different discussions on this site, but I'm still not able to send anyone a message of any kind. I would appreciate any help you could throw at me, and I'm sorry if this is a dumb issue.

Did you try accessing your pm box?

Also you can send a user a pm by clicking their name or visitng their profile and clicking PM in the window that pops up.

Or check the message box At the bottom it will say "Start new conversation", add user names to the list and then send the message

I'm looking at your post count, and I only see 4 posts. Certain forums like Intros and EOF don't count towards the 10 needed to PM. Just make a few posts around General Gaming or Offtopic Chat and you should be golden! Welcome to GBAtemp!

Oh yeah, you need to post in other places not titled Edge of forum or Introduction like Chary said. Then you can get the counter to move up more and after 100 you can access all the user features.

But you should be able to send pm anyway, I got pm from new users with low post count.

At 50, the shoutbox will open up on the front page, iirc. Trading and anything else unlocks at 100
