Hacking O3DS 2.1.0-4E CFW

Hello im new here,
im glad i just join Nintendo cumunity.
I have big problem becouse i wanna instal CFW on my new 3DS but i really dont know where to start. What exactly i need to begin instal CFW. Which tutorial is for me and my 3DS. Can som1 help me with that problem? There is any way to make backup of oryginal FW ? I got 24 months gwaranty. Sorry for bad English. Im pretty sure som1 asked about the same problem but i cant find it. Just let me know what can i do and where star my adventure with CFW.

You'll need to follow the OTP retrieval part of this guide.
After you got your OTP, you can update to 9.2 with a gamecard and install CFW.

I'm sure there's people who are more knowledgeable then me who can help you more then I can.
But by all means, DO NOT UPDATE BEFORE YOU HAVE OBTAINED YOUR OTP!
You're on 2.1 which is the last FW which can retrieve said OTP file.

That's like the perfect FW version! Even has a browser! I'd recommend dumping the OTP first.

That page is linked from here and is specifically for people who start with 2.1.0-4.

Anyway the story is that the best method of hacking your system and getting CFW requires downgrading your system to 2.1.0-4. If by luck your system starts on 2.1.0-4 already, you don't need to do that, and a few other steps change a bit. So there is a special simpler set of instructions if you started with that firmware.

I believe the FBI instructions are slightly wrong for 2.1.0-4. You use SysNAND options when injecting the FBI.

(Incidentally, 2.1.0-4 was the current firmware for the most time compared to any other firmware. According to Nintendo's list, it was available from June 15 2011 through November 12 2011, which is almost five months. This is probably why people keep turning up with 2.1.0-4.)

Just don't skip anything and read everything carefully and you will have a CFW 3DS with the possibility to just play all the games you want and more.

Well just do what the page says ....
After that you will have Luma3DS CFW on your 3DS and can use something like CIAngle to download games and play them if you want to .....

Make sure your card is FAT32, then follow the guide. You'll have the prefect CFW setup.

1. Backup otp.bin to multiple locations (such as online file storage)

That file is very important. Make some copies of it and put it one usb drives and multiple clounds so you never lose it

Since you are on 2.1 you will need to update to 4.0 or 6.0(with a game cart) first and then you can use rxtools to update to 9.2.
After that just follow the steps below:

• Do Part 1 - Homebrew
• Do Part 4 - 2.1.0 Downgrade (Section II - Injecting FBI Only)
• Do Part 5 - arm9loaderhax
  • Copy SafeA9LHInstaller's 3ds folder and dat file instead of the arm9 and arm11 bin files
  • Copy otp.bin to /a9lh/
  • Launch SafeA9LHInstaller from Homebrew menu instead of browser
  • Skip steps related to "emergency files"
  • Skip steps related to "RedNAND"
  • Skip Section IV and Section V
  • Update to the latest system version after completing Section VI

The points under Do Part 5 - arm9loaderhax are modifications of the steps in Part 5, additional steps or steps you can skip.

Tkanks to ar5 in on cfw i used 2GB SD card. Now i wanna ust 16 GB. Can som1 tell me how to instal this card? Step by step ofcorse i know how to get to nan9 y+rebot. But i dont know which one option i need use
