Are you starting Nintendont through the Homebrew Channel or through launching a GameCube game in USB Loader GX?

when you say "channel" you mean you installed a WAD forwarder channel to launch nintendont to the system menu ?
Or you are calling "channel" the homebrew listed in the HBC?

You said "after HBC," did you somehow get Nintendont on the console before installing HBC?

That post has no resolution. Did you ever get your HBC working? I hate to say it because you're obviously an active member here, but you should maybe read the stickies? What exactly have you done to your vWii? Something is very wrong if you couldn't use HBC.

My HBC, has already functioned, there are about 2 months HBC was working.
But I really really don't know why, but my HBC stop to works... So I stopped using it (logical)

Yesterday, my HBC is magically repaired (IDK why)... I made a test on Pymp My Wii and somme IOS (or some things like that) was broken, but but I think pimp my wii is just for Wii and this was false results. Today, my Nintendont channel (wad) was borken, and my HBC channel too !

I've NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING installed on my vWii exclude wad channel of Nintendont.

Ok so your HBC is currently not working still then? I see, I think I misread something above. Well, are you able to run anything through homebrew exploits?

I dunno what you did exactly with Pimp My Wii, but that's what has caused this almost guaranteed. And without the HBC or exploits working, I do believe you are just SOL. I would cut your losses and just be thankful your vWii still works at all. :/ I may be wrong though, wait and see if anyone else has any suggestions. @Cyan, am I correct with this? Are there any other ways to try and launch a homebrew to fix this?

Well,

1) Programs aren't magical. They are highly logical (even if at times they appear otherwise). I don't believe HBC and Nintendont just randomly stopped working for absolutely no reason. I'm not saying you necessarily had to do anything that you were aware of, but some software managed to damage your system files if you are no longer able to launch a game exploit. A vWii with default settings will work with all exploits. So something affected your system files around the time things started breaking, and it isn't Nintendont, and very very likely not HBC.

2) Regardless of what exactly damaged the system files (IOS), the fact is now they are damaged, and without any way to launch homebrew applications, we can't fix anything.

PimpMyWii is a Wii program to patch ALL IOS and/or install Wii IOS version of them.
Using that program will damage your vWii. (and Wii)
I really don't recommend using that program to check your console's status.

You said HBC stopped working, for that to happen it's usually when you mess with your IOS58.
Are you really sure you never tried to install or update IOS58 to use Nintendont ?
I know a lot of users thought updating IOS58 was the right thing to do when Nintendont didn't work, because "Wii users did it this way !"
The issue is that Wii users did it this way because their IOS58 was missing or outdated, but vWii has already the correct version and it should NEVER be touched or replaced or patched.

If you have the USBLoaderGX or Nintendont Forwarder, you can use it to run other homebrew (if IOS58 works fine, as you said you never installed anything it should be a clean one).
But first, we will have to run syscheck to verify your current console's IOS version, that's the first thing to do before doing anything else.
DO NOT delete HBC. I just read your other thread, and you did very good not following random users help telling you to delete or reinstall it!
It's good that users want to help, but they shouldn't provide bad, dangerous and random information like that...
You never replied to bug_checker on your other thread, he asked if you could run othre homebrew without HBC. but we will try it.
I don't like having two threads for the same issue, as it can be hard to follow what's done or not, but let's continue here.

So, to launch syscheck, download it from my signature (from the syscheck guide).
Instead of installing it into HBC/apps/syscheck, put the dol in /apps/nintendont/boot.dol (rename the real loader's dol to keep it)
This way, your Forwarder channel will launch syscheck with AHB access. The only issue is that it will use IOS58 and if it's broken the forwarder channel might not boot either. but try it please. It will not affect your console.

If it doesn't work, we will see what can be done. but if your IOS58 is really damage, you won't be able to fix your vWii with the current knowledge and access we have.

Okay, firstly I don't thinks I have touch the IOS58 because, on the Wii scene, I am a big noob, I don't know what IOS58 do...
MAYBE I updated the IOS58, because I have NEVER installed IOS, I'm sure at 100%. So yeah, maybe I have uptaded the IOS58, I'm really really not sure.

A user warned me to not delete the HBC Launcher, and anyway I can not do it because the exploits don't work.
Okay, I have put the homebrew on my SDCard, but the problem I here: I don't have forwader channel (thnaks for the explanation, because I did not know what was).

And I don't things my IOS58 is broken, because when I play a game on Nintendont (but I can't now), if I press Home, HBC freeze, BUT the 28 july my HBC work. (but with a strange screen ratio)

P.S: Sorry if I have a bad English.
PS2: Thanks for you help !

EDIT: I misread, sorry, I will try on Nintendont right now.
EDIT2: Oh... I am so stupid, the Nintendont folder was not on the apps folder...

OK the homebrew make a syscheck... I will post my result on the thread of syscheck
