Try booting to sneek by launching bootmii from homebrew channel. That made the difference to me, if it still doesn't load your hard drive or USB is incompatible or not in fat32 32kb clustersize.

U can't load sneak or launch the hackmii installer without an SD card, sorry!

On another note, I just put out a super minor update to modmii , just updated the download links for the guide gif's (sourceforge changed them on me). I went to use modmii for the first time in ages and noticed the gif's weren't loading, otherwise I would've never noticed.

You don't really need that file, just continue as usual with your guide. You may need to instruct bootmii to "prepare SD card" , it's often done automatically but doesn't hurt to do it again

Edit, ModMii was never built with vWii in mind, but I believe some vWii guides utilize ModMii for some functions, but not as a total solution as ModMii is for the Wii

But ModMii will never generate a vWii IOS or CIOS, correct. I just want to point that out so people don't try compiling a CIOS with modmii and try installing it on their vWii.

The installer just keeps trying to download the file. How to bypass this?
Can someone please send me the file?

I can't remember exactly, but during the download doesn't it say to use a "keyboard combination" to skip files that seem to not be downloading. I think it says it over & over again what to do during the download process. Try reading/scrolling through the window and the "keyboard combination" will be listed in there.

As per my last message, you can ignore that particular downloaded file and continue with your guide , it's a redundant file not necessary for modding the Wii (or rather the bootmii sd files will be created by the hackmii installer, which you already have)

XFlak,
I also got the same error but was unable to continue with the wizard. Once you stop the batch it ends, there is no option to skip or continue with the next step. The only options are to continue trying to download the SD files or restart the wizard

Same issue here. Stuck at 14 of 64: BootMii SD Files and it just keeps trying to redownload the files. What was that keyboard shortcut key combo to skip a download? The log screen wont let me scroll up to check.

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems to have skipped over it itself and moved on. Proceeding through the rest of the process now.

EDIT: And then after it finishes download all it checks to make sure they are all valid, sees some of the downloads failed and then it goes back to attempting to redownload them all.

You'd be better off softmodding and not using WODE, IMO.
