ROM Hack Need help extracting my monster hunter generations save files

Hi there
Sorry if this Thread is in thewrong category I'm completley new here.
So my problem is i bought a new 3ds xl and downloaded the game from the eshop.
I'm a student so i dont have much time to invest hunting monsters again and again to progress so i searched for a save editor and found a bunch of them on google.
But to edit my saves it seems that i need to export them with savedatafiller or so,which i cant use because i cant homebrew my ds. My question is, is there any way to export these files from my sd card with a tool installed on my pc.

Good luck for an answer. Nobody seems to help the new guys around here. They like to just post their stuff without explaining how to actually install/use them and assume everybody is a pro.

That's getting homebrew which is the start. BUT you forget how its MHGen he/she's talking about and I think we both know a simple get a homebrew trick ain't gonna help him since MHGen doesn't save from the cartridge. Again, Simple tutorial would eliminate such questions as this. Go to JK's Save manager and tell me if u find a tutorial and how to install/use it on the page.

Also, asking for help seems to be generally ignored here only few gets answered. Again, Tutorials would benefit ALOT of people.

That is the most detailed and specific guide for 3DS hacking on the internet nothing you read on this forum will compare, you just sound stubborn and young.

Look i tried reading that tutorial and im a visual learner i understand you guys are knowledgable but to be honest it sounds like your putting yourselves on a pedastel and not even trying to help a simple video tutorial would benefit others like myself who want to learn more but get confused reading a tutorial

@CT-4169 If you properly went through CFW, you would know that you'd have a CIA installer and would have no need to rant like that. However, OP said it bought meaning he doesn't have CFW. Therefore, he must get CFW to use savedatafiler.

What @Legion2130 said is what I'm talking about. I DON'T WANT CFW in my 3DS for the time being. What all we ask are simple guides or vid tutorials for some projects. Not slap it on the forum and assume we get it. And FYI I do know how this stuff works in a way. I'm talking about the OTHER people who are just starting.

Funny how you guys bashed me but not him. I'm not a noob in comes of CFW and such I'm just new to the forum not to the CFW game

Ummm.. did you guys think I'm in the same spot as the OP cause I'm not. I have both up do date 3ds and a 10. something so browserhax is still accessible for mine. Didn't need no CFW to get the save file for MHGen to edit.

Like Legion said, there are lack of tutorials for some projects in here and when people do ask most gets ignored.

Simple help like this down below would be pretty nice instead of bashing people around

Install JKSM. (its really easy)

Then after its installed, boot into Homebrew. Start JKSM and put in your MHGen Cartridge (If you have the Installed Version just cycle through your apps)
Then click on it. Go into Extra Save Settings ---> export the Save
Put the Save on your PC (it's called system (theres another file called system_backup which is a backup. Rename it to system if your file corrupts))
Edit the File on your PC.
Put it back into the folder.
Then Boot Homebrew
Click on MHGen
Extra Settings --> import the File.

Voila You're done.

And ALWAYS have a Backup!
